"External assistance?"
"Yes, external assistance. I can't guarantee this, but we can't just sit here and wait for our doom..." Ziyu glanced out the window. "That vortex could be anything; if it's an alien weapon, Earth will be in ruins." Ziyu's expression was serious.
"Alright, go ahead."
No one stopped him. The purpose of this organization was to resist the alien invasion.
"The Ion Thruster might not work well in a vacuum; I hope we can switch to a thruster that doesn't require fuel and relies solely on energy... Keep the Laser weapon, and add energy-based weapons..." Ziyu informed them of what was needed, and the scientists began to work according to Ziyu's requirements.
"Done."
After nearly an hour, with the help of machinery, the modification of the Battle Armor was finally completed.
"I'm heading out now," Ziyu said, merging with the Battle Armor before climbing into the mech.
"Zero, seal the Battle Armor and provide oxygen," Ziyu commanded.
The Battle Armor was a small version that accompanied Ziyu, while the mech was a large machine like a giant.
Once in space, Ziyu only needed to seal the Battle Armor to prevent oxygen from leaking out.
Ziyu exited the spacecraft and flew upward, activating the Thruster at full power to escape Earth's gravity.
"Zero, connect to the satellite and Space Telescope, construct a star map of the Solar System to find a route from Earth to Mars." Once Ziyu reached outside the atmosphere, he felt disoriented, completely unsure of his orientation. This time was different from last time when he could just find a Space Station; this was going to be a long-distance journey.
"The closest route to Mars has been successfully constructed."
"Uh... did we bypass that black hole?" Ziyu suddenly remembered there was a black hole near Earth; he didn't want to experience that strange sensation again.
"It has been four months, and the black hole is no longer near Earth." Zero.
"That's good. Let's go!" Ziyu laughed and began to follow the best route marked on the screen.
"By the way, Mars seems quite far... So, let's accelerate the entire way without stopping for a moment. The energy can support that, right?" Ziyu pondered this question.
"No problem, it can be done. We should arrive shortly."
"Previous rockets took several months to reach Mars... What about me?" Ziyu asked.
"Two weeks." Zero.
"Ah? Is it going to take that long?" Ziyu glanced back at Earth. "I hope I can hold on."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Two weeks later.
"Sir, we have arrived at Mars, just ahead."
"Yes, I've seen it for a while." Ziyu replied helplessly.
These two weeks were extremely boring for Ziyu. Ziyu had Zero control the mech while he relaxed inside, using the communication system to catch up on news from Earth and eating food stored within the mech.
"Switch to manual control; I'll take over." Ziyu said as he stretched.
"Cancel acceleration."
Accelerate again, and we will collide with Mars.
"Landing."
The mech flipped over completely, its feet facing the ground, and then the thruster activated again, beginning to decelerate.
"Zero, check if there are any communication signals here?" Ziyu asked.
"No need, there's a signal request for connection." Zero replied.
Ziyu felt a surge of joy; it seemed they had come to the right place: "Connect."
"You really made it... that's great... but there are some Guardians here, so be careful. I'll transmit my route to you." The woman's voice echoed again.
"It seems we found the right place." Ziyu looked at the screen, where a route appeared on the display map of Mars, connecting to the distance.
"Alright, that's not an issue, but I do have a problem." Ziyu said.
"Please go ahead." The woman's voice was very gentle.
"Our planet may be in danger right now, so... I hope you can get your planet to provide us with some assistance. You mentioned you are a princess; I believe this shouldn't be too difficult for you." Ziyu needed to confirm that this princess could help them.
"Okay, we will send forces... but if those invading your planet become friendly with us or if their overall strength can completely crush our planet, we will mediate and not oppose them."
"Alright, it's settled."
After Ziyu finished speaking, they began to follow the route.
Ziyu was able to understand that if the planet attacking them was an ally, it would be good enough for them to step in and mediate. If negotiations broke down, it could lead to a conflict between these two originally friendly planets due to Earth's involvement.
As for the planet attacking Earth, its military strength completely overshadowed that of the princess's planet... there was no need to say more; it would be more than enough if they could at least attempt to mediate.
"Don't try to communicate with any creatures you see; they are all guards imprisoning me on Mars. This place is their prison," said the princess.
"Damn... using planets in our Solar System as prisons? Don't they know that Earth is the boss in the Solar System?" Ziyu was quite angry.
"Uh... if those words reach their planet, your Earth will quickly turn to ash..."
"Forget I said anything." Ziyu chuckled.
"Life forms detected ahead," Zero suddenly said.
Ziyu immediately became tense, and the embedded Machine Gun in the mech revealed itself.
"The Guardian is not suited for this planet's environment, and neither am I. So they have a protective layer; we just need to break through that layer, and they'll be finished quickly," the princess advised.
"Roar..." A howl echoed through the thin atmosphere.
Ziyu cautiously moved forward.
"There!" Ziyu spotted a shadow and immediately ran toward it.
"Swish swish..." Two light blue beams, about ten centimeters long, shot into the ground beneath Ziyu's feet.
"This..." Ziyu looked down at the ground that had just been pierced; the small hole was still smoking, and its depth was unknown.
"By the way, you need to be careful with that Guardian weapon. It seems like there isn't much material on your Earth that can withstand their weapon's penetration. Just be cautious about that; there's nothing else to worry about," the princess suddenly said.
"I think I understand now..." Ziyu said with a bitter smile, "You should have mentioned it earlier."
"Bang!"
Ziyu felt a shock as the mech was hit from behind.
"It's over, Zero, quickly check if the mech was damaged just now," Ziyu hurriedly said.
"No, there are no signs of damage... it's just like new," Zero replied.
"..." Ziyu fell silent for a moment. "They can't hurt me? Their guns don't work on me? Haha, right, mine is made of meteorite, not Earth materials!"
Ignoring everything about the Guardian, Ziyu dashed toward the place where the princess was held.
"What should we do?" Behind a rock, two Alien Creatures communicated in their unique language.
"What else can we do? Let's see how it goes. Their weapons are useless against this guy; we'll use armor soon."
