Upon hearing Mo Xiao Li's words, someone immediately went out. Consort Xi's face turned extremely pale, and the Empress Dowager, feeling a bit sympathetic, said, "Perhaps this is all a misunderstanding. Before she finished speaking, several people entered carrying something. Consort Xi could no longer hold herself together and collapsed to the ground, while the Empress Dowager was completely disheartened.
"Your Majesty, look—" the eunuch said as he presented the items on the tray. Everyone immediately recognized that it was something sinister. Just then, Xia Ziqian was also nearby, so Mo Xiao Li said, "Have the imperial physician come and see what this is."
Xia Ziqian respectfully approached, sniffed the substance, and said, "In response to Your Majesty, this is Heart-eating Grass."
Everyone was taken aback; everyone knew that Heart-eating Grass was very difficult to find. Naturally, they recalled the poison from Little Prince's full moon banquet. As soon as she finished speaking, Huixin rushed in anxiously without even greeting anyone and said, "Your Majesty, Empress, something terrible has happened! Little Prince suddenly started foaming at the mouth and fainted for some unknown reason."
Upon hearing her words, Mu Junqi felt his strength drain away. If it weren't for Mo Xiao Li beside him, he would have collapsed to the ground. Mo Xiao Li's expression turned grim as he hurriedly told Xia Ziqian, "Quickly go check!" After saying that, he supported Mu Junqi and left. Before they departed, he angrily ordered, "Confine Consort Xi and Consort Qian in prison and await their fate!"
Consort Qian and Consort Xi both laughed loudly, clearly unfazed by this turn of events. Meanwhile, Mu Junqi tightly gripped his clothing with both hands as he leaned against Mo Xiao Li and hurried forward.
Mo Xiao Li was also very anxious; he understood what this child meant to Mu Junqi. If something really happened, he didn't dare to think further.

Huixin felt a bit awkward and didn't know how to start, so Mu Junqi pushed her aside and approached Little Prince. Looking at the small figure quietly lying there, he felt a deep sadness in his heart.
Xia Ziqian simply bowed and looked at Mu Junqi, saying, “Empress, you don’t need to worry. His Highness the Crown Prince is fine.”
“What? He was poisoned; how could he possibly be fine so soon?” Mo Xiao Li asked, clearly skeptical.
“Replying to Your Majesty, ever since Little Prince was poisoned during his full moon celebration, timely treatment saved his life. However, the toxin from the Heart-eating Grass remained in his body. This time he was poisoned again, and although he is still in this state, he has already developed resistance. Plus, after taking my antidote, I believe he will wake up in a few hours.”
Upon hearing this, the two were excited and said, “Thank goodness! Otherwise, we wouldn’t know what to do outside.” They then lifted Little Prince's body.
Huixin and Ziyue, upon hearing this, were also very happy. While wiping away their tears, they said, “The Crown Prince is truly blessed.”
After the initial joy, a dark expression immediately appeared on Mo Xiao Li's face as he clenched his fists tightly. Seeing this, Mu Junqi understood his thoughts at that moment. She reached out to hold his hand and softly said, “Don’t worry. Now that we know who did this, we can take revenge for Han Zhe.”
Mo Xiao Li didn’t respond but instead pulled her into his embrace. Seeing this, Ziyue picked up Little Prince, and the group left. It wasn’t until everyone had departed that Mo Xiao Li said, “Now that things have come to this point, I must swear by the blue sky and white clouds that in this life and beyond, I will only love you, Mu Junqi. No matter what happens, I will always believe in you.” He gazed at her with deep affection.
Mu Junqi clearly didn’t expect him to suddenly say such words. Feeling emotional, tears couldn’t help but fall. So much had happened along the way; thankfully, it was not too late for everything.

Meanwhile, over at Qinxiang Garden, after Mo Xiao Li left, the Empress Dowager sat there blankly staring ahead, lost in thought. So much had happened that day—too much for her to process all at once.
Her most trusted maid turned out to be an undercover agent planted by someone else; her most cherished girl had been scheming against her. Had she really become so old that she could no longer discern truth from falsehood?
Just as she was lost in her thoughts, Mo Xiao Li returned, holding Mu Junqi's hand. Seeing the Empress Dowager still sitting there, they hurriedly approached and said, "Empress Dowager, please don't be sad. What's done is done, and feeling guilty won't change anything."
The Empress Dowager came to her senses and looked at them, anxiously asking, "What about Han Zhe? Is he alright?"
"Empress Dowager, rest assured, Han Zhe is no longer in serious danger. If you are tired, Consort can help you back to rest," Mu Junqi said softly as he stepped forward.
Only then did the Empress Dowager carefully look at Mu Junqi and suddenly burst into tears. This caught both Mo Xiao Li and Mu Junqi off guard; they hadn't expected this reaction. "Empress Dowager, what's wrong? If you're feeling unwell, please just tell us. Consort can find someone to check on you."
"I am fine; I just now realize who truly cares for me and who is insincere. I regret many things I did that hurt you in the past. Now that I am old, I only hope you can forgive me."
Mu Junqi quickly replied, "Empress Dowager, please don't say such things. No matter what has happened, even if Consort has resented you in the past, since it is all behind us now, let's forget it and move forward together."
"Yes, Empress Dowager, from now on we will honor you together. Our current task is to thoroughly interrogate Consort Xi about what else she has done," Mo Xiao Li added.
The Empress Dowager sighed softly and said, "You two handle this matter. I am already tired and wish to go back to rest." With that, she stood up.
The palace maid behind her quickly supported the Empress Dowager as she slowly walked forward. Mu Junqi continued to say, "Empress Dowager, please be careful."
