Her gaze froze, and gradually her eyes turned red; even her vision felt a bit distorted. She huffed softly and exhaled but quickly turned her head to rub her face against the pillow with force.
When she turned back to look at her phone, her vision cleared slightly.
Her fingers trembled slightly but without hesitation, she opened Bao Ming's chat window. It still contained the messages she had sent him in a rush before. Rao Jie glanced at it, and her vision blurred again. She clicked on his profile picture and then decisively tapped on the upper right corner to scroll down to the bottom.
Rao Jie hesitated between two options with her finger before finally choosing the one below:

Blocking someone seemed like another way of remembering that person; he didn't deserve any special treatment from her. She just wanted him to disappear from her world entirely.
Next, she opened Jiang Chuchu's chat and performed the same actions.
Then Rao Jie began deleting all photos and information related to Bao Ming from her Moments without hesitation. It was only then that she realized almost all their photos included Jiang Chuchu; there were very few pictures of just the two of them alone.
Rao Jie held her phone tightly, continuously deleting everything as if trying to erase all traces of these two people from her life as quickly as possible until there was nothing left behind.
Her chest felt heavy, and her breathing inexplicably quickened; it felt as if countless voices were entangling in her heart, all rushing up to her throat, nostrils, and eyes—every sense seemed ready to explode from an unknown pressure.
Not only had she been hurt by betrayal from her boyfriend and friends, but also by her family's coldness and selfishness that relentlessly tortured her vulnerability.
She had been out for so long now, yet not a single person had reached out to her.
Finally, she sobbed, trembling like a small beast as she cried out. Afraid of disturbing Wu Rong next door and not wanting to be heard, she bit down hard on her clothes, tears sliding into her mouth, a bitterness she had never tasted before.
