The next day, Feilbolai stayed in the house for a whole day. He was waiting for Master Kangqiao to give him instructions and guide him in his training, but there was still no news.
Only a Wanderer came to bring him meals and tidy up the room, remaining silent like a closed book.
The following day, when Feilbolai woke up, a Light Screen flickered in the darkness at the center of the room, revealing Master Kangqiao's appearance. He informed Feilbolai about the dangers on the way to the Tower Spitze Control Room. At the end of their conversation, a delicate box fell from above, containing a Golden Finger that could open the door to Tower Spitze. Feilbolai took the Golden Finger and followed the route specified by the elder, quickly arriving at the entrance to the tower. He opened the door leading to a place related to his ability enhancement—before him appeared a Spiral Staircase. Ascending the Spiral Staircase, he entered a large hall.
This hall was lined with various instruments along the walls, and various gauges were displayed on them. Directly opposite the entrance was a massive screen showing curves of various colors that constantly changed. Feilbolai hesitated, unsure if this was indeed what the elder referred to as the Control Room... Just then, a Wanderer approached, politely bowing halfway and saying, "Welcome to the Control Room. Please come this way; Grandmaster has made arrangements, and I will take you to Tower Spitze."
After speaking, the Wanderer turned and led Feilbolai to the center of the room. Several beams of light flowed past, revealing a suspended glass box—it was actually a teleportation elevator.
The Wanderer entered the elevator first, and Feilbolai followed closely behind. As they passed through the light flow, they arrived at the top level of the Golden Tower in just a few seconds.
Feilbolai stepped out of the elevator and looked around; he was standing in the center of a circular room with nothing around him. The walls were smooth like mirrors, reflecting his figure. Even the floor was similarly reflective and as smooth as ice, requiring careful steps.
Feilbolai turned to ask the Wanderer behind him, "Is this where I will train?"
"Yes," replied the Wanderer expressionlessly.
"This is quite an unusual room; what is so special about this design?" Feilbolai asked curiously.
"The Ice Mirror Stone here was mined from deep within Elysium Planitia's extreme cold core. Its gathered energy is immense and immeasurable; only this Golden Tower possesses such benefits. You should cherish this opportunity for training," answered the Wanderer.
"Is it really that impressive? Then what are we waiting for? Let's get started... But how should I train? Please instruct me," Feilbolai said enthusiastically, even suppressing his usual arrogance and becoming much more polite.
"Wanderer" then replied, "Today's training is very simple; you just need to sit down on the ground. I believe you don't need me to explain how to meditate in detail, right?"
"With such a cold and smooth floor, it would be strange if my buttocks didn't get sore after sitting for a long time," "Feilbolai" joked, but still sat down properly.
"Wanderer," however, did not realize this was a joke and seriously responded, "Don't worry; what you mentioned won't happen at all. Although the ground here is made of 'Ice Mirror Stone,' its energy is deeply restrained. The only thing that might get hurt is your internal energy; it won't directly harm your body. Even if you meditate for half a year, you won't get sore. So, this 'Elysian Spire' is an extremely special 'Golden Tower' on Mars, with many mysterious aspects that are hard to explain."
After hearing this, "Feilbolai" just smiled wryly. "Wanderer" then began to teach how to sit cross-legged in meditation, instructing him to spread his arms across his legs with palms facing up, close his eyes, and take deep breaths. Although "Feilbolai" had learned this before, he still listened attentively to "Wanderer's" demonstration and began his training.
Even though he had meditated before, this was the first time "Feilbolai" sat quietly in a cross-legged position, maintaining a focused state of mind; after all, it did not align with his restless nature.
An hour quickly passed, and "Feilbolai" began to feel warmth throughout his body; his blood was flowing, and he felt as if he were floating in the air. He had never experienced such a sensation before; it felt like powerful energy was continuously surging from the top of his head, stimulating his brain. This energy intensified from weak to strong until he could hardly bear it.
At that moment, a hand rested on his shoulder. "Feilbolai" turned around to see "Wanderer," who was sitting behind him with a serious expression, telling him, "You can only practice up to this point today; come back tomorrow."
"Feilbolai" wiped the sweat from his forehead and asked, "Only practicing for such a short time? When will my martial arts improve?"
"Wanderer" replied, "This isn't short at all. Practicing here for one hour is equivalent to several months of practice elsewhere. You've already increased your internal energy significantly today."
Feeling the surge of energy within him, "Feilbolai" brightly agreed and got up to leave.
