After Lufeng returned to the sect, Wang Xiaojing did not continue to pursue the matter. She complained breathlessly, "Damn it, Dead Land Wind, I've changed myself for you, haven't you noticed? It's really infuriating! I must conquer you in the name of the moon..."
"Ah-choo~"
In Lingbo Cave, Lufeng sneezed, touched his nose, and smiled lightly: "That girl is cursing me again. Sigh, I have to face that damn Qin Guan again. I wonder how that Mian Tan Gui is doing..."
The flying dragon was fast, and in no time, Lufeng arrived in front of Qin Guan. He was startled at the sight; Qin Guan looked pale and his legs were trembling, clearly showing signs of weakness.
Upon seeing Lufeng return, Qin Guan seemed to see a lifeline: "Ah, Lufeng, you're finally back! Please save me, I'm about to collapse!"
Lufeng had already noticed Qin Guan's problem and quickly comforted him: "Brother Qin, don't panic. As the saying goes, a little exercise is good for the spirit, but too much can harm the body. Just take it easy and your health will surely improve."
Mian Tan Gui's complexion improved as well. Afraid others would hear him, he nervously said, "What are you talking about? Don't say such things! I'm just overworked!"
"Understood, understood! A little at a time can go a long way; remember that!"
Qin Guan felt a headache coming on and helplessly replied: "But your medicine is too potent; I can't control it!"
"You used it all at once?" Lufeng asked in confusion.
Qin Guan nodded dumbly: "Yeah, is there a problem?"
"You’re incredible! Even a bull can't handle that; that's a month's worth! You only need to use a little bit!"
"So how do I take it easy?" Qin Guan asked sincerely.
Lufeng thought for a moment: "As the saying goes, when you're well-fed and have nothing to do, just don't eat too much before you... you know what. That way you won't have so much energy left over."
"Right! Why didn't I think of that!" Qin Guan exclaimed in realization. "Thank you so much! I thought I was done for and worried for nothing. Go protect the sect now!"
Lufeng wiped away a cold sweat. It seemed that whatever he came here for, Qin Guan already knew. If his answer didn’t satisfy him, he might not get the chance to defend the sect.
Upon entering the Dungeon, he saw someone guiding the defense of the sect. Before Lufeng could speak, the guide chattered on: "Recently, our sect has been plagued by a group of Rogue Elements. As the eldest disciple of our sect, it is your duty to help us resolve this issue. Since your skills are not yet fully developed, we will conduct some training here. I hope you can figure out how to deal with these Rogue Elements! The Training Ground is ready for you; shall we begin now?"
"Then let's start!" Lufeng replied calmly. Listening to these NPCs drone on was truly tiresome.
"A number of Rogue Elements have appeared near the sect; please go and eliminate them!" the guide reminded him.
As soon as the guide finished speaking, two Rogues and Lowlifes appeared nearby. Lufeng did not attack immediately; instead, he observed the distribution of the Rogues and planned to eliminate them in several waves.
These Rogues were scattered throughout Lingbo Cave. Lufeng divided them into four main areas: Phoenix Zither, Lankai Chess, Sage Book, and Heavenly Mechanism Platform. The boss was also indicated at Heavenly Mechanism Platform, and only after eliminating 30 Rogues and Lowlifes would the boss be drawn out.
With a plan in place, Lufeng first arrived outside Phoenix Zither. He then used a Heavenly Spirit Pill to double his Experience time and summoned Sunglasses Cat, which unleashed a Roar. A lion's roar echoed from Sunglasses Cat, and the sound waves with attack effects spread out, attracting all nearby Rogues. Subsequently, as Raging Inferno fell, each Lowlife lost more than half of their health, and Lufeng casually harvested the lives of the Rogues.
These Training Ground Rogues and Lowlifes had low health and defense but high Experience rewards. In no time, Lufeng had eliminated six Lowlifes, with System notifications ringing in his ears:
“Ding—”
System Notification: Lowlife killed: 1/30 Boss killed: 0/1

“Ding—”
System Notification: Lowlife killed: 6/30 Boss killed: 0/1
……
“Ding—”
System Notification: Dear Player, congratulations on leveling up to level 37.
The Experience from these Lowlifes was quite substantial; soon Lufeng reached level 37, while Sunglasses Cat leveled up to level 42 and stopped gaining Experience.
Lingbo Cave was interconnected with numerous passages, and Heavenly Mechanism Platform was located in the center of the cave. Lufeng first went to Lankai Chess; with another Roar followed by Raging Inferno, he quickly eliminated eight Lowlifes in just a few minutes, gaining a significant amount of Experience.
Then, Lufeng rode a flying dragon directly to the Sage Book and eliminated eight more Lowlifes, with the last eight Lowlifes at the Heavenly Mechanism Platform.
A few minutes later, thirty Rogues and Lowlifes had perished. After the third Rogue was defeated, the boss ascended into the air and appeared at the Heavenly Mechanism Platform.
In Asking Heaven, neither monsters nor bosses could be seen with attributes; only their levels and health bars were visible. The boss displayed three health bars, while ordinary monsters showed one health bar.
The Jianghu Bully was level 35, but under the attack of Sunglasses Cat, it was easily defeated, quickly turning into over twenty thousand Experience. With double Experience, that amounted to over fifty thousand Experience. In just a few minutes, Lufeng leveled up again.
"Ding—"
System prompt: Dear Player, congratulations on reaching level 38.
"Ding—"
System prompt: You have killed Lowlife 30/30 and Bully 1/1. You will leave the Dungeon in 25 seconds!
Lufeng did not expect that a Training Ground would grant him over four hundred thousand Experience. Such substantial Experience made leveling up feel like flying. Facing this kind of Dungeon without challenge was originally meant to provide the thrill of killing enemies effortlessly. This was also a marketing strategy by the developers; once a player enjoyed the feeling of defeating monsters so quickly, they would be willing to spend money to enhance their attributes. Lufeng understood this deeply but dismissed it with a smile. When it came to dreams, it was merely an excuse to seek a higher-paying job.
After entering society, Lufeng became more realistic and gradually matured in thought. He realized that only when he reached a certain height could he afford to pursue his dreams. Dreams require someone to pay for them; once a person enters society, they should know their place. Only with self-awareness can one rise higher. As for why he helped his roommate so much, it was partly due to their four years of camaraderie and partly due to his principles; only by offering help in times of need can such relationships endure.
From the moment he entered Myth Studio, Lufeng saw it as an opportunity for himself. Gradually, he realized that Asking Heaven represented a reform in the gaming industry. From the developments over these past few days, new players continued to pour in daily, which sparked an idea in Lufeng's mind about taking on apprentices.
The thought of taking on apprentices flashed through Lufeng's mind as he was teleported out of the Dungeon and returned to Lingbo Cave. He then mounted his flying dragon and headed towards Emei Mountain...
