Lu Sha shook his head and said, "I really don't want to encounter their disgusting skin again." 0
"That's what I mean, a new enemy," Nars replied. 0
The topic was originally quite abstract, but the possibility of war made the atmosphere in the room extremely tense. 0
General Jiang silently took out his phone to check the time, then raised his head and said, "It's still early; feel free to share any thoughts you have." 0
In fact, aside from Nars, the others had little to say. Everything felt too unfamiliar to them. What An Xiaotian had just mentioned was merely an analysis derived from Nars's words. 0
Nars asked An Xiaotian, "You articulated that very well; is there anything else you can add?" 0
"I... have nothing more; that's all I could conclude," An Xiaotian replied. 0
Nars nodded and continued, "Just now, Xiaotian basically summarized my points; he is an excellent talent. General Jiang, having him as your soldier is truly a blessing." 0
"Yes, I agree," General Jiang said, giving An Xiaotian a thumbs up. 0
An Xiaotian shyly waved his hand and said, "You're overpraising me." 0
"Mr. Nars, do you have anything else to say?" General Jiang asked. 0
"I'd like to add something, uh, haha..." Nars awkwardly fumbled for words, feeling a bit overwhelmed—he sensed he might have added too much today. 0
The others present shared a knowing smile at Nars's moment of vulnerability; the heavy atmosphere seemed to lighten considerably. However, everyone quickly fell silent again, hoping Nars would continue speaking since they all understood this was something they would inevitably face. 0
"I can't guarantee that everyone will understand what I'm saying, but by now you should know that their zombies are divided into two types. As for the Soulless, we must eradicate them completely!" 0
Nars suddenly raised his voice; his resolute tone sounded almost like an oath. 0
In truth, Nars could completely disregard the survival of this planet, but in guarding this path, he was unwavering and had never thought of retreating or even looking back. 0
As the prince of the Moonheart people, he did not want to feel or hear again the pain of losing his nation and race or the wails of being separated from his family. Since the day he made a pact with Liu Xuan, he had tightly intertwined his life and beliefs with the future of Earth. 0
Perhaps this is what boundless love means. 0
He was willing to give everything for the life of the universe and was ready to devote all he had to eliminate darkness and bring forth light. 0
Nars's only wish now was for Liu Xuan and Ma Yihan to have a peaceful life, for his comrades before him not to suffer from the ravages of war, for humanity not to repeat the tragic fate of the Moonheart people, and for Earth to survive. 0
"Yes, we must eradicate them completely!" General Jiang echoed. "Before cosmic enemies arrive, we need to resolve our current crisis; otherwise, it will only make things worse." 0
Xu Yicheng glanced around at everyone and quietly raised a hand. 0
"What is it, Dr. Xu? Feel free to speak; we can treat this as casual conversation; there's no need for formality," Nars encouraged Xu Yicheng to share his thoughts. 0

Lu Sha looked on, the corners of her mouth lifting slightly. She found it somewhat amusing—this was hardly formal; it felt more like a primary school student speaking. 0

"Then how should we deal with the Spirit Corps?" Xu Yicheng asked. 0

Just when everyone thought Nars would take a moment to think, he blurted out: "Alliance." 0

"What?!" Qin Weishan and Xu Yicheng sat up straight, while the others, though they had seen the Spirit Corps, seemed somewhat shocked by Nars's idea. 0

"No, you... are you okay?" Lu Sha's furrowed brow seemed to accuse the disgusting things for leaving a scar in her heart. "You want us living people to team up with those corpses? I certainly refuse; just seeing them makes me want to vomit." 0

In fact, Nars understood Lu Sha the most. He and Liu Xuan were the first to arrive and had witnessed Lu Sha's arm being bitten open, blood spraying out like a burst pipe. 0

The expressions on the others' faces were not good either; it appeared that Nars's idea was truly isolated this time. 0

"But they are not real zombies," Nars insisted. "They are normal souls residing in bodies, that's all." He hoped this reasoning would alleviate everyone's doubts. 0

"You understand more than we do, Mr. Nars. We may not be able to accept this for now, but we will consider it. Before that, can you give us some convincing reasons?" General Jiang said. 0

"Alright," Nars thought for a moment and said, "First of all, I believe everyone can feel that with just the six of us, it's clearly a bit overwhelming to confront an army of ten thousand well-equipped troops from Kumul. Even if we are strong, two fists cannot fight four hands. If we have the support of their Spirit Corps, our chances of winning this battle will greatly increase." 0

"Don't we have an army? Why not use them instead of teaming up with those monsters?" Lu Sha tilted her head. 0

"But..." 0

Qin Weishan was about to speak when Lu Sha turned and shot him a glare. He saw that murderous look again and, wanting to keep the peace, sighed softly, rolled his eyes at Lu Sha, and closed his eyes to take a nap. 0

"Second, they are souls from the Divine Realm. If we can establish a good relationship with them, perhaps we could receive blessings from the Time-Space King. Just imagine if Vamulel could possess technology and spells beyond the universe like those from the Divine Realm; Vamulel's civilization could develop exponentially in just a few years. Moreover, magic is an area Vamulel's civilization has never ventured into—don't you want to try developing it?" 0

Lu Sha seemed like she wanted to say something again; her mouth opened, but in the end, she held back what she had been about to say. 0

General Jiang lit a cigarette—he hadn't smoked for several hours and felt an itch in his heart. For General Jiang, each cigarette was both an addiction and a moment of contemplation. 0

"Lastly." 0

Suddenly there was a rustling sound. 0

"Who!" 0

Nars unexpectedly summoned the Tianchuang Gloves and stood up abruptly. 0

The sound of Oriole flapping by outside startled Nars into glancing out the window. He turned back and apologized to the audience: "Sorry, I was too sensitive." 0

General Jiang reassured him: "This is the most advanced military base with a defense system; nothing will happen. Nars, the scars of war cannot heal by oneself; we can help you." 0

Nars' gentle moonlight-colored eyes suddenly dimmed. Nars put away Tianchuang Gloves and nodded slightly. "Thank you, General. Some things are better handled alone." 0

No matter the race, the bloodshed and horrors of war will inevitably leave wounds that are hard to heal. These wounds may bring a lifetime of pain, tears shed in the dead of night for lost loved ones, the sorrow and helplessness of kneeling on the battlefield holding a comrade's lifeless body, and an everlasting burning anger towards this world. It is hard to imagine the depth of hatred and rage harbored by a prince whose kingdom has been destroyed and who is being hunted. 0

Moreover, he is also entangled with the life of a young man. To keep Liu Xuan alive and to carry the last hope of the Moonheart people, who understands the fear that grips his heart every day? 0

An Xiaotian's originally serious expression softened considerably; he gently sniffed and relaxed his shoulders slightly. Everyone present was like a fool guarding those who were overlooked, but compared to Nars's broad-mindedness, they felt utterly insignificant. 0

"Getting off track, haha." Nars shook his head, shaking off the sudden wave of sadness that had just surged within him, and continued, "I think at least the Spirit Corps tribe is not harmful to this world. Since they have come, let's embrace them. After all, they were once vibrant people living on Vamulel." 0

"We can definitely make them our allies and comrades." 0

Everyone listened quietly, no one spoke. These reasons were not without basis; An Xiaotian, Jiao An, and Lu Sha were all present as proof. 0

"Their leader was also one of your people from China, named Miao Chengmin. According to him, he was a commander in a firefighting rescue team and unfortunately sacrificed his life during an operation. I believe they are all righteous. In this mission, if it weren't for his mercy, neither I nor Liu Xuan would be here—he could have easily killed us." 0

Everyone listened quietly without speaking. Or rather, they were deep in thought. 0

Nars finished speaking. He lowered his head, tugging at his pants, but inside he couldn't suppress his desire for recognition. 0

Why? Why does he need their approval when he is doing this for their good? 0

An Xiaotian suddenly turned around and glanced at General Jiang. 0

General Jiang met his gaze and cleared his throat, saying, "We can accept your opinion, Mr. Nars. Your vision is much broader than ours; I am deeply moved by your final reasoning." 0

"Thank you, General," Nars replied. 0

"However, it's not that we oppose you," General Jiang said. "Even if we can agree, public sentiment is fundamental. If the people are unwilling, then everything is in vain." 0

"I understand, General," Nars said. "Regarding this point, I want to say that whatever choice we make—right or wrong—let time be the judge. For the future of this planet, we must take this gamble. If we are right, no further explanation will be needed; the people will naturally support us. Even if we are not recognized now and even those we protect do not wish to believe us, as long as our hearts are just, gold will not fear being buried in sand—that's how it works." 0

"I agree," An Xiaotian stated clearly. "I choose to support Nars." 0

"So do I," Jiao An said. 0

"Count me in," Xu Yicheng added. 0

"Uh, alright," Qin Weishan slowly opened his eyes. "Although I didn't understand everything, I'm willing to support brother Nars." 0

Lu Sha looked left and right; if he didn't express his stance soon, he would be isolated. He shrugged and said, "Well, I didn't say I opposed this lunar comrade, right?" 0
