With him at the front, Daniel felt much more relaxed, even to the point of just being a bystander. After all, his attack power was relatively low compared to these individuals, making it ineffective. 0

So he easily detected the information of the five people, but upon looking, he was immediately taken aback. 0

Daniel, Third-Level Wizard Apprentice 0
Strength: 6 0
Agility: 65 0
Constitution: 5 0
Mental Power: 81 0

For the other four, since Daniel didn't know their names, he simply referred to them as A, B, C, and D. Once he listed out the data and compared it, a problem immediately arose. 0

A, Third-Level Wizard Apprentice 0
Strength: 6 0
Agility: 64 0
Constitution: 5 0
Mental Power: 81 0

B, Third-Level Wizard Apprentice 0
Strength: 6 0
Agility: 65 0
Constitution: 5 0
Mental Power: 81 0

C, Third-Level Wizard Apprentice 0
Strength: 6 0
Agility: 65 0
Constitution: 5 0
Mental Power: 81 0

D, Third-Level Wizard Apprentice 0
Strength: 6 0
Agility: 66 0

Mental Power: 81 0

What was going on here? 0

At first, Daniel thought they were just all Earth Element Affinities who excelled in teamwork, but he never expected them to be this similar. 0

They had the same Mental Power, and as for the other attributes—strength, constitution, and agility—they only differed by a mere one point, which was negligible in terms of data. 0

This was not something that could be explained by mere teamwork. It seemed they had likely been learning together since becoming Wizard Apprentices, practicing the same Meditation Method with identical affinities. They lived and trained together every day, moving in unison as if they were one person. 0

It is precisely this day after day, year after year, of mutual influence and assistance that has allowed them to become so similar. 0

However, it is this ability that makes their combat power not simply one plus one equals two, but rather equals three or four. When the five of them come together, they can unleash a fighting strength far beyond what ordinary people can imagine. 0

In fact, when they take things seriously, the situation changes dramatically. When fighting against Daniel, they were merely dividing their roles clearly: three attacking and two defending, comfortably and without exerting their full strength. 0

However, facing Reirfu's extraordinary combat power, their fighting method also changed. The five of them attacked and defended simultaneously, working together in such a way that it felt like facing just one person. 0

The five occupied the corners of a pentagram, forming a simple Magic Array. Waves of spells emerged, harmoniously yet distinctly different. 0

Once their spells were unleashed, they could combine to create an even more powerful attack. Even if all five released different spells at the same time, they could still coordinate perfectly without any internal loss. 0

Thanks to their seamless cooperation, they managed to hold their ground against Reirfu. 0

Seeing that she couldn't subdue them immediately, Natalie disregarded her injuries that had just healed and her Mental Power that had not yet recovered, forcing herself to act despite the pain. 0

With flashes of lightning appearing, both sides exchanged blows. Earth balls, elemental giants, thunderbolts, and slime breaths flew across the battlefield. 0

Even with Natalie and her partner joining forces, they could only keep Daniel and his group at a disadvantage; they could not achieve absolute suppression. 0

Daniel observed that the current situation was clearly a stalemate; neither side could gain the upper hand over the other. 0

After all, both Daniel's group and Reirfu possessed earth attributes. The defensive power of earth attributes is the strongest among all elemental types; no one can overlook the protective strength of earth. 0

Whether it is the Five-in-One Shield or the Reirfu's two-sided giant shield, they are not easy to break through. 0

However, in terms of attack power, the earth element is relatively the weakest. The gap between both sides is quite large, making it difficult to even break through each other's shields, let alone determine a winner. 0

Daniel watched from behind with great interest; it wasn't that he didn't want to help, but he truly couldn't. 0

His rate of progress could be considered fast, enough to rank among the top in the history of the Flame Throne Wizard Academy. 0

But ultimately, he had been a Wizard Apprentice for too short a time. Compared to others, he might seem very strong, but facing these apprentices who could almost be called monstrous, he really was nothing. 0

Their fighting styles also opened Daniel's eyes, allowing him to witness aspects that could not be seen in books. Whether it was Reirfu's close combat attacks or Natalie's Brutal Thunder, they were all incredibly powerful. 0

Especially Reirfu's close combat attacks. As a melee wizard, he had pushed his melee capabilities to the limit. The two-sided shield could both attack and defend; when lowered, it became a Tower Shield with unmatched defense, and when raised, it turned into a weapon with fierce offensive power. 0

Daniel was also amazed by the traditional elemental magic of the five-person team. They had mastered earth element magic to the peak of apprenticeship and, relying on their teamwork, did not even regard Reirfu, who had reached the pinnacle of apprenticeship, as a threat. 0

Perhaps even under Lord Boris, they were among the strongest apprentices, with few able to compare to them. It was just unclear why they would come to attack him. 0

Little did Daniel know that he had stumbled into serious trouble. Ten Wizard Apprentices were killed simultaneously, including one Third-Level Apprentice, yet no information had been transmitted in time. The opposing force must have had overwhelming strength. 0

As a result, Boris raised the mission level significantly; only pairs of Third-Level Apprentices could undertake it. This led to the situation where a Third-Level Apprentice was hunting down Daniel. 0

Who would have thought that Daniel was merely an ordinary Second-Level Apprentice who had achieved the remarkable feat of killing ten Wizard Apprentices through various means? 0

After struggling for a while, Natalie shouted at Daniel, "Why don't you make a move? Use the Fire Dragon's Descent two more times; we need to burn them to death!" 0

Daniel smiled bitterly. He had already run out of attack potions, and there was no way to form a combination spell. Did she really think the Fire Dragon potion was free? 0

He suggested, "How about we stop fighting?" 0

Daniel glanced at him coldly. "Don't even think about it. We are under the orders of our mentor; we must capture you and take you back. If we can't do it ourselves, we'll just call for help. After all, we're not the only ones on this mission." 0

He crushed a piece of his badge, and an invisible wave of energy radiated outward. 0

So he’s calling for help! When they couldn't win, they would just summon reinforcements. But who told them they were in the Underworld? They had the advantage of terrain. Since they couldn't win, calling for help was the only option. The pursuing soldiers were probably not far behind. 0

Daniel realized there was no way to resolve today's situation peacefully. If they didn't find a way to deal with them first, once they joined forces with the pursuers, escaping would be nearly impossible. 0

Looking around, he noticed that they were in the same place where Daniel had rested earlier, where they had inscribed the Magic Array. 0

Daniel had initially intended to use the Magic Array to trap him, but it had been discovered, and all the effort and resources spent on creating the Magic Array had gone to waste. 0

Since the other side could use the Magic Array, why couldn't he? The only pity was that he currently had no materials; setting up a Magic Array was impossible without them. 0

Glancing around again, he soon spotted a cave in the distance. From the surroundings, it was clearly a beast's den. The creatures here were large, resembling bears, and there was a high chance of encountering Magical Beasts. 0

This made things much easier. Magical Beasts were indeed useful materials; using their blood to set up a Magic Array would be perfect. 0

"Wait a moment, Natalie, I'll be right back," he said to Natalie. 0

Natalie shouted angrily, "What are you waiting for? Are you trying to escape at the last minute, you idiot?" 0

Daniel smiled apologetically, not bothering to argue. He ran over to the nest and discovered several Earth Demon Bears inside. These magical bears had earth attributes and astonishing defensive capabilities; even a Second-Level Apprentice would find it difficult to kill them in a short time, let alone a Third-Level Apprentice. 0

Unfortunately for them, they encountered Daniel this time. In an instant, metal threads shot out, wrapping around their necks. 0

The Earth Demon Bears, furious at Daniel's appearance and ready to charge out to kill him as food, were caught off guard and had their heads severed instantly, dying without any chance of survival. 0

Daniel felt regret over the last encounter with Bear Big; it was a pity to waste such luxurious fur. He had spent some time studying Golden Affinity magic. 0

He specialized in blade slashes that could emit metal blades to injure enemies. With slight modifications, he transformed it into metal threads that were hard to detect, allowing him to quietly eliminate them. 0

Next, Daniel used Wizard's Hand to grab the corpse of an Earth Demon Bear and quickly ran back. Both sides engaged in battle looked at him in surprise, not understanding what he was doing. They were currently locked in a life-and-death struggle. 0

What are you trying to do? Hunting? Coming back to roast it for a meal? 0
