The communicator crackled with Arnold's frantic shout. “Barrett, Barrett. Daniel, what happened to Barrett? Why isn't he responding?”
Daniel ignored him for a moment, then picked up the communicator, pretending to be out of breath. “It's Flame Demon. He showed up and fought us. Barrett has already been killed. That Fireball Spell was terrifying; in just ten seconds, he unleashed nearly zero fireballs. Truly horrifying.”
“Then why don't you go die?”
Arnold screamed internally but had to comfort Daniel instead.
“Stay calm, don't let Flame Demon hurt you.”
The ten of them were stationed at Vita City, and as the captain, he was now faced with the death of four Second-Level Apprentices. He really didn't know how to report this to his superiors.

Taking advantage of the time while the two were coming over, Daniel continued to delve deeper into the Lava Secret Realm to assess the situation inside. Countless lava creatures began to appear within.
Some of these lava creatures set their sights on Daniel, the outsider. They lurked in the Magma, their fiery eyes fixed intently on him, waiting for him to show a weakness before pouncing to bite and fight for dominance.
According to the chip's readings, the temperature here had already reached over a hundred degrees. Even with his abilities and under the protection of defensive spells, he felt a bit scorched. Not to mention anything else.
Based on the intelligence he had gathered, the Fire Elemental Tribe responsible for guarding the Lava Heart resided in the deepest part of the Magma Sea, making their home among several massive islands. They typically roamed and drifted within the Magma Sea without any enemies.

In the Magma Sea, there were only rocky formations serving as footholds; everywhere else was filled with Magma. If Daniel fell in, facing the all-consuming Magma would only leave him severely injured and fleeing for his life; one misstep could mean death.

"Daniel, how did Barrett die? Where did it happen?"
Daniel pointed randomly to a distant spot. "It was over there. The Flame Demon suddenly appeared, and Barrett was completely unprepared; he was ambushed and killed."
"I followed the Flame Demon here, and he has already gone deeper in. Damn it, that damned Flame Demon! I must kill him to avenge Barrett and the others."
"Yes, we must kill him."

Daniel led the two forward in pursuit.

Enoch stopped and asked, "Daniel, are you sure the Flame Demon came this way? Why haven't we seen any trace of him yet?"
Daniel confidently pointed ahead. "Of course it's here. I saw something on the rocks ahead that doesn't belong to the Lava Secret Realm; let's go check it out."
Hearing this, the two were skeptical but quickly arrived at the rocks Daniel indicated.
Looking at the rock, the two couldn't help but frown. The area of the rock was not large, barely enough for two people to stand on, and most importantly, it was nearly ten meters away from the rock beneath their feet.
They could cross over, but it would be difficult. If they were attacked by someone, they wouldn't be able to react in time.
Enoch asked with some confusion, "Are you sure there's something up there?"
"Of course," Daniel replied, taking a step back.
Enoch was about to ask again when he suddenly felt a tremendous force surge from behind him, causing him to lose his footing and slide forward. Just as he was about to fall into the lava, Enoch leaped with all his might, covering nearly ten meters and landing on the rock that Daniel had pointed to.

Enoch's face turned pale as he angrily accused Daniel, "What are you doing? Why are you trying to set me up?"

It wasn't that he didn't know that escaping someone else's scheme was the best choice when being ambushed; it was just that there was no way to escape.
The nearest landing point was nearly ten meters away and still under Daniel's feet. To rush over would mean having to confront Daniel directly at that distance. With magma surrounding them and no ability to fly, he had only one way out: death.
Running forward seemed like a good option, but even the nearest landing point was still zero meters away. Without anyone attacking him, he might still manage to escape safely.

Little did they know that Daniel is indeed the Flame Demon, and every move is under his control.
