Chapter 271: Third Transition Reality Shift
At the moment Sun Zhe stepped through the massive stone door, it felt as if the ground had flipped upside down in an instant. Everything around him seemed to descend into chaos, and even Sun Zhe himself could not escape this turmoil. He could only feel his body spinning uncontrollably, unable to regain control.
After an unknown amount of time, Sun Zhe felt his body finally come to a stop. When he opened his eyes again, he was astonished to find himself on a gracefully floating boat, suspended in an endless ocean. Waves surged and crashed around him, the sound of roaring waters echoing continuously, while the boat drifted with the currents of the vast sea.
"Is this the first transition within the Nine Reincarnation Tower?"
Staring incredulously at the scene before him, everything appeared indistinguishable from the real world. Sun Zhe reached his hand into the water, feeling the icy touch of the sea clearly. Yet this world was undeniably within the Nine Reincarnation Tower.
"Could it be that everything here is actually real?"
As Sun Zhe pondered this, he couldn't help but furrow his brow, his expression darkening. Waves crashed against the light barrier formed by his Thunder Domain, impacting him as if they were striking his own body. Initially, the waves were not too large, and Sun Zhe managed fine. However, as the storm intensified, so did the waves rising from the ocean—towering waves dozens of feet high surged toward him, crashing down with terrifying force upon the purple barrier.

A soft whistle echoed as the explosive sound of waves suddenly paused momentarily; even the air darkened for an instant. Such a colossal wave was terrifying beyond measure; looking out across it revealed nothing but deep blue water stretching endlessly.
Sun Zhe's face flashed with a hint of bitterness. He now roughly understood the terror of the Nine Reincarnation Tower. Just the first transition had such astonishing power; what kind of scene would follow? He could hardly believe it. He realized how ridiculous his initial desire to reach the ninth transition was. Having learned from his experience in the first transition, Sun Zhe no longer stood still waiting for these volcanoes to erupt unexpectedly. His techniques quickly activated as he crazily absorbed the dense fire attribute spiritual energy from his surroundings. After circulating it for one cycle, it transformed into pure Thunder Power stored within him. He then became a phantom and flew toward the distance, darting out over a hundred feet in an instant. He clearly intended to escape this region before these volcanoes erupted.
However, if it were that simple to get through, this volcanic world wouldn't have become the second trial of the Nine Reincarnation Tower. The continuous volcanoes seemed endless; no matter how fast Sun Zhe ran, he couldn't escape their range. No matter how far he ran, it felt like nothing changed in his surroundings.
Just as Sun Zhe flew to an edge of a volcano, these long-suppressed volcanoes finally began to erupt. Torrential flames surged upwards, and this time thousands of volcanoes erupted simultaneously. The entire space was instantly enveloped by endless flames and smoke while hot magma covered the ground, turning the entire world into a fiery red inferno.
Sun Zhe dashed through as violent Thunder Power surged throughout his body again. The surrounding flames were swept away by this raging Thunder Power and instantly turned into nothingness. At that moment, dozens of flames spewing from nearby volcanoes quickly converged together and transformed into a Flame Dragon over a hundred feet long in an instant.
The Purple Light Sphere immediately collided with the Flame Dragon, and an unimaginable intense heat of fiery power surged into Sun Zhe's body. His face instantly turned a deep red, and a trace of glamorous blood trickled from the corner of his mouth. He couldn't help but shudder slightly; clearly, he was still lacking compared to this scorching fiery power.
In that brief moment, Sun Zhe summoned two Feral Beast Souls from the two War Clan Totems. With the power of the two ferocious Beast Souls, he barely managed to push the Flame Dragon into a disadvantageous position.
