The Dazzling New Star of the Heroes of the Martial World

After the Half Lion Man was repelled by Qiu Yuxia, Zhuge Kongming and Liang Shanbo rushed in to surround the injured creature. Liang Shanbo declared, "Monster, come pay for your life to the Confucian Academy." A vast surge of palm energy erupted from his hatred, striking directly at the Half Lion Man. Injured internally, the Half Lion Man struggled to counterattack but found its power lacking; its Inner Strength was greatly depleted, and it could only manage a feeble defense before sustaining another palm imprint on its body. However, before it could spit blood, Zhuge Kongming produced a repeating crossbow and rapidly fired several arrows that shot through the air towards the Half Lion Man. Unable to evade in time, it was struck in both its abdomen and front legs by arrows, instantly feeling excruciating pain. Just as Ouyang Xiu from the Lyricism Sect prepared to unleash his ultimate move, the Half Lion Man found itself on the brink of death when Half-Dragon timely withdrew from battling Yi Zhangzhi to strike back against Zhuge Kongming and Liang Shanbo.
With Half-Dragon leaving the fight, Yi Zhangzhi and Qiu Yuxia faced off against Half-Fly Man and Duanmu Chong in a two-on-two scenario. Meanwhile, Yi Zhangzhi faced Duanmu Chong alone; although he had been injured earlier, his Inner Strength was profound and unfathomable. Additionally, he possessed the martial arts masterpiece Three Powers Merged as One, allowing him to contend with Duanmu Chong comfortably. Duanmu Chong was no easy opponent either; relentless palm energy surged forth in succession, forcing Yi Zhangzhi into a defensive position. The two sides now had similar strength levels, leading to a prolonged stalemate.
Seeing that the situation was gradually turning favorable for Yi Zhangzhi while Qiu Yuxia restrained Half-Fly Man, Huangfu Mingmo decisively entered the fray alongside Duanmu Chong to battle Yi Zhangzhi together. Her ultimate technique One Sword Returns to One surged forth powerfully as countless energy swords formed into a massive sword shape that charged towards Half-Fly Man like an avalanche. The Half-Fly Man flapped his wings rapidly and unleashed his insect clan’s signature move—Wind Blows Thousands of Miles—creating a whirlwind that rushed towards Qiu Yuxia’s sword attack. As their ultimate moves collided, sand flew and stones scattered amidst an overwhelming force that shook the battlefield. Due to being injured earlier and having slightly diminished Inner Strength, Half-Fly Man’s attack could not withstand Qiu Yuxia’s lethal strike. In an instant came a horrific scream as Half-Fly Man was cleaved in two, his soul departing for Nine Springs. Before he could witness his clan’s total annihilation, perhaps departing for hell first was a form of happiness for him.
Meanwhile, engaged in fierce combat with Murong Mulong was Half Locust Man; upon seeing his subordinate perish tragically ignited deep-seated hatred within him. Enraged beyond measure, he unleashed a powerful strike against Sword Saint Murong Mulong. Murong Mulong remained calm and said, "No need to rush; you will soon join your subordinate." Swift sword energy erupted from him as he neutralized Half Locust Man’s palm attack before launching three beams of light directly at him. Fueled by vengeance for his fallen subordinates, Half Locust Man was determined but knew he must first eliminate Murong Mulong before targeting Qiu Yuxia; thus he unleashed his ultimate technique—Flying Without Leaving Grain—sweeping through with immense force aimed at Murong Mulong. The Sword Saint’s three sword energies were dispersed by this attack as he was sent reeling back several dozen feet.
Seizing this opportunity, Half Locust Man flew towards Qiu Yuxia with rapid strikes aimed at claiming revenge on his enemy.
Murong Mulong saw Yi Zhangzhi in dire straits and quickly joined the battle to assist him; with one swing of his sword he created distance between Yi Zhangzhi and Huangfu Mingmo as two of the Five Great Swordsmen of the Martial World re-engaged in combat. Murong Mulong declared: "Huangfu Mingmo! The fate of those who remain obstinate is to report before King Yama." After speaking these words, he unleashed furious sword energy that surged toward Huangfu Mingmo. Huangfu Mingmo leaped into midair to evade this onslaught before swinging his sword again; multiple energy swords shot toward Yi Zhangzhi’s direction. Seeing this unfold, Sword Saint swiftly moved beside Yi Zhangzhi; spinning Mogan Sword allowed him to block Huangfu Mingmo’s ambush attack with ease. Following this came another clash between Divine Craftsman’s two renowned blades that sparked brilliantly as they collided; their peak sword techniques left spectators awestruck.
Meanwhile in their revenge match between Half Locust Man and Qiu Yuxia—the leader of his clan—Half Locust Man drew upon greater fighting spirit fueled by sorrow over his fallen kin; already formidable in strength now bolstered by an unyielding vow for vengeance against those who wronged him gave him an edge in momentum over Qiu Yuxia who fought defensively yet remained at a disadvantage. After several exchanges where Inner Strength slightly favored Half Locust Man over time he managed to injure Qiu Yuxia further still; following this came an even more terrifying lethal technique where Qiu Yuxia could only barely muster enough strength for defense but ultimately fell short once again sustaining injuries that caused her to spit crimson blood.
Half Locust Man proclaimed: "One more strike will take your life as an offering for Half-Fly Man’s spirit."
Qiu Yuxia laughed heartily in response: "How can such monsters like Half-Fly Man ascend after death? They should be sent down into eighteen layers of hell instead! Hahaha!"
Half Locust Man grew increasingly furious upon hearing her words; flipping both palms upward he gathered immense palm energy intending to crush Qiu Yuxia’s body entirely. Just when she seemed on the brink of disaster outside Wind and Rain Valley, Dreamy Beauty suddenly intervened with a powerful strike that neutralized Half Locust Man’s deadly attack. Dreamy Beauty declared: "Such an excellent show cannot lack Dreamy Consort as its main character!" With that proclamation made clear she officially faced off against Half Locust Man.
Half-Dragon faced Zhuge Kongming, Liang Shanbo, Ouyang Xiu, Hua Mulan, Fan Buzhao, and Sima Qian alone without showing any fear. Half-Dragon was highly skilled, far surpassing any of Zhuge Kongming and the others. Even if they all fought together, they could not harm Half-Dragon in the slightest. With a single move, Divine Dragon's Tail, the momentum was grand and the power immense, sweeping down from the sky. Zhuge Kongming and the others found their Inner Strength inadequate and were immediately injured, spitting blood. Injured Ouyang Xiu, seeking revenge for Mengzi, endured his wounds to fight Half-Dragon. After several exchanges, Ouyang Xiu ultimately could not withstand the deep Inner Strength of Half-Dragon and was killed by a palm strike from Half-Dragon, dying in a gruesome manner.
