The Dazzling New Star of the Heroes of the Martial World
Yi Junsheng felt a sense of familiarity upon hearing those words, so he carefully examined the newcomer and said, "Young Master Tang, you resemble someone, someone wanted by the Martial Arts Tribunal. Could it be that you are him?"
Tang Young Master feigned indifference and replied, "I don't understand what you're saying, White Face. Please remove yourself from my sight, or don't blame me for killing you on the spot."
Yi Junsheng said, "Oh, you really hold a deep grudge against me. I know your true identity now; you are the Tangmen Young Master, Poison-Proof Tang Bo Hu, who is wanted by the Martial Arts Tribunal. Did you think I wouldn't recognize you just because you've changed your appearance? Your voice has betrayed you."
As soon as these words were spoken, the Martial Arts Community members surged forward to attack. Tang Bo Hu found himself besieged and fought desperately. Outnumbered, he was soon beaten to a pulp, covered in injuries. At this moment, in order to save his life, Tang Bo Hu unleashed a deadly poison called Laughing Step into Madness upon the crowd. As the poison spread, several members of the Martial Arts Community were caught off guard and instantly killed. Taking advantage of their panic, Tang Bo Hu managed to escape.
At this time, Wealthy Merchant Wang Fugui suffered an undeserved calamity and was poisoned, his life hanging by a thread. While everyone was desperately trying to find a way to detoxify him, Yi Junsheng committed an act of disgrace. He took out a piece of white paper and wrote: Upon my death, all my assets shall be inherited by Yi Junsheng. Yi Junsheng approached the dying Wang Fugui and said, "Old Wang, you're about to die from poisoning. As they say, you can't take wealth with you when you die; why not let me inherit your estate? I will make sure your wealth is put to good use. Just sign your name on this paper." He then handed the pen to the barely conscious Wang Fugui. At this point, Wang Fugui could no longer write anything; Yi Junsheng lifted Wang Fugui's hand and pinched his thigh hard enough to elicit pain so that he could remain somewhat aware. Stimulated by the pain, Wang Fugui groggily signed his name before passing away, leaving everyone speechless.
The crowd erupted in outrage at Yi Junsheng's despicable act; some even drew their swords to attack him. The nearby Sanwei Daoist immediately stepped forward to confront the attackers. Seeing this, Yi Junsheng said, "Sanmei Daoist, hold them off for now; I need to leave." With that, Yi Junsheng fled with the will bearing Wang Fugui's signature. Many members of the Martial Arts Community pursued him from behind, determined to bring this unjust man to justice.
Running and running, Yi Junsheng headed toward Yun Yin Temple. An hour later, he arrived at Yun Yin Temple without hesitation and stepped through its gates. The Celibacy Master saw him and asked, "Benefactor, why are you in such a hurry?"
Yi Junsheng replied, "Master, please help me! There are many people chasing after me."
The Celibacy Master said, "Amitabha. Since you have entered Yun Yin Temple, I believe no one can harm you here."
Upon hearing this, Yi Junsheng said, "Thank you very much, Master."
Moments later, members of the Martial Arts Community arrived at Yun Yin Temple. They intended to enter and capture him but were stopped by the Celibacy Master. After a heated exchange of words, many members of the Martial Arts Community were persuaded to leave by the Celibacy Master, allowing Yi Junsheng to escape with his life intact.
Shu Heng and two Female Soldiers entered the dense forest of Northern Martial Arts in search of the Half-Orc mentioned in the book, intending to seek apprenticeship. Suddenly, a Half-Bear Man leaped out from the bushes and attacked them. The two Female Soldiers were caught off guard and knocked down by the Half-Bear Man. Seeing this, Shu Heng said, "We come here with no ill intent; I am here to seek a master." However, the Half-Bear Man ignored him and bit off one of the Female Soldier's head, causing her to die instantly in a gruesome manner, blood gushing everywhere. Witnessing this brutal act, Shu Heng felt his heart shatter with fear. At that moment, another Half-Orc jumped out of the forest and killed the other Female Soldier. This Half-Orc had a human face and a tiger's body, walking on four legs with a tiger tail behind him; he was indeed a Half-Tiger Man. The Half-Tiger Man said, "There's still one left; let's leave that for the Half Lion Man."
In this terrifying scene, Shu Heng was so shocked that he stood frozen in place. After enjoying his prey, the Half-Tiger Man brought the stunned Shu Heng back to the Half-Orc base known as Beast Den. Inside the Beast Den, there were many Half-Orcs, including the Half Lion Man, Half-Leopard Man, Half-Werewolf, Half Jackal, Half Fox Person, Half-Hound Man, Centaur, and Half Donkey Man. The leader of these half-beasts was a Half-Dragon. The Half-Dragon had a human face and dragon body, two human hands, and four dragon claws; its body was golden yellow with a long dragon tail. Except for its head and two human hands, it resembled a true Auspicious Dragon. Upon seeing that the Half-Tiger Man had brought back a woman, the Half-Dragon said, "Half-Tiger Man, is this prey a tribute for me?"
The Half-Tiger Man replied, "No, I thought such a beautiful prey would be suitable for the Half Lion Man."
Hearing this, Shu Heng was filled with terror and asked, "What do you monsters intend to do with me?"
The Half Lion Man approached to examine Shu Heng closely and said, "Indeed, she is quite a beauty; I shall not refuse." Then, driven by lustful desires, the Half Lion Man took the immobilized Shu Heng into a cave to indulge in his whims and humiliate her. All that could be heard were the cries of despair from Shu Heng, filled with hopelessness and unwillingness. While being insulted by the Half Lion Man, she contemplated biting her tongue to end her life; however, how could she easily speak of death when her family's vengeance had not yet been avenged? It was this determination for revenge that sustained her will to live. She believed that although she was currently enduring humiliation, there would come a day when she would take revenge on those who wronged her. Therefore, as long as she could now endure humiliation and carry this burden, she could look forward to the day when she would slay her enemies.
After enjoying his prey, the Half Lion Man declared to the other Half-Orcs, "This beauty is mine from now on; none of you can touch her; otherwise, do not blame me for being ruthless." Under the protection of the Half Lion Man, Shu Heng managed to save her life; however, at that moment, she was already deeply wounded both physically and mentally. Only the thought of revenge kept her sane. She thought: my enemies have increased again; just like King Goujian of Yue who endured hardships for revenge in ancient times, I too will endure humiliation and carry this burden as a member of the Daughter Clan . If Goujian could achieve his goals through perseverance, then so can I; I want all my enemies to have no place to be buried.
From then on, Shu Heng followed closely behind the Half Lion Man, often asking him to teach her advanced martial arts and exquisite hunting skills.
In the wilderness, Medicine King Sun Simiao walked slowly with his prized creation, Yamada Koji. Suddenly, he encountered the group known as Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances. Seeing their formidable presence presented an opportunity to showcase his creation. He said, "This tree was planted by me; this road was opened by me. If you wish to pass through here, leave some toll money."
The response from Heroic Blade Eighteen Vengeances: "Oh? So you are clearly robbing us."
Today at Seaside Mountain View, a bloody incident occurred where the precious bird known as the divine bird—Phoenix of the Race, which had been bought back by Master Wu Sangui for ten thousand taels of gold—was murdered. Upon examining the corpse of the divine bird, Wu Sangui found that all its bones were broken while its veins remained intact; it was evident that it had fallen victim to the magic technique known as Nightmare Demon 's Severing Tendons Without Harming Vessels . No other valuable clues were found at the scene nor any signs of intrusion; thus, he concluded that the murderer must be none other than the Nightmare Sorcerer who had also been present at the Martial Arts Auction that day. Therefore, he sought out Nightmare Demon to avenge his divine bird.
