Claire looked at Jack, her mind racing with various thoughts. Suddenly, she seemed to see Mark, covered in blood, lying on the table. His head lifted, and a strange smile appeared in his eyes. 0

"Wow, wow, wow... is this your new boyfriend? What a unique way to play... isn't it?" Mark looked at Claire, his tone filled with sarcasm and mockery. 0

Claire's heart raced as she felt a wave of intense fear and confusion. Her mouth hung open, unsure of what to say, and she could only stare blankly at Mark. 0

Mark laughed loudly, his laughter echoing in the interrogation room. "Why don't you honestly tell us what we did before you killed me... Hahaha!" 0

Claire felt dizzy as reality and illusion intertwined; she couldn't distinguish whether everything was real or imagined. She struggled to calm herself, trying to respond to Mark's words, but her throat felt blocked, unable to produce any sound. 0

Jack watched Claire, noticing her pale face and the terror and confusion in her eyes. "Claire, are you okay?" His tone became more concerned. 0

Claire suddenly snapped back to reality; the Mark before her vanished, replaced by Jack's worried gaze. She took a deep breath, trying hard to bring herself back to reality. 0

"I'm... I'm fine," Claire said, her voice trembling as she tried to mask her inner fear. 0

Then Claire began to recount in detail her sexual encounter with Mark, speaking rapidly as if eager to share everything. "That night, we were in his apartment; we started by chatting for a while, then we began kissing. He picked me up and took me into the bedroom." 0

Her description grew more detailed, leaving Jack somewhat stunned. He had expected Claire to continue denying or being vague, but she suddenly became so specific that it felt very strange to him. 0

"In the bedroom, he gently kissed my neck; we touched each other, feeling each other's warmth and breath," Claire continued, her voice tinged with excitement and the pleasure of memories. "We took off each other's clothes and felt the thrill of skin against skin. Our movements gradually became more intense as if we were releasing each other's pressure and emotions." 0

Jack listened in shock to Claire's account; her words evoked an inexplicable sense of strangeness within him. This sudden detailed narration seemed like an effort to prove her innocence while making the entire situation even more chaotic and elusive. 0

"We have no entanglements," Claire continued, her speech slightly slower but still filled with emotion. "It's just a physical relationship, and we both know that. I love him, but I also know we can't have a future together. So I had no reason to kill him, really, I didn't kill him." 0

Jack took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. He knew that Claire's detailed account might be hiding more truths, but he also felt the need to tread carefully. "Claire, you say it was just a physical relationship. Can you tell me what happened that night? Was there any argument or conflict between you two?" 0

Claire's eyes grew more urgent as she struggled to recall the events of that night. "We didn't argue, really. We just talked about some light topics. I told him I was going on a trip, and he wished me a good journey. There were no entanglements between us; he treated me well, and I treated him well." 0

Jack listened to her words, still filled with doubt. He knew there were too many contradictions and inconsistencies in Claire's story, but he also sensed her fear and confusion. "Claire, what we need is the complete truth. If you really didn't kill him, then you must help us find the real murderer." 0

Claire took a deep breath, trying to steady herself, a glimmer of determination flashing in her eyes. "I will do my best to help you, but I really didn't kill him. I love him; I wouldn't do something like that." 0

Jack furrowed his brow as he looked at Claire. Her expression became anxious, her gaze flickering uncertainly, clearly preparing another lie. He knew that if he didn't give her an escape route, she might continue to hide the truth. 0

Jack sighed, his tone softening slightly. "Claire, what happened that day? Perhaps Mark did something rude to you... or maybe there was some external force threatening you... If you were forced into it, you should tell us." 0

A flicker of doubt crossed Claire's eyes; she clearly reacted to Jack's words. She lowered her head, her hands tightly clasped together, her internal struggle evident. 0

"I... I really don't know," she said softly, her voice trembling with pain. "That night we were in the bathroom; he seemed very happy. We talked about many things and took some photos together. But... I felt confused and didn't know what happened." 0

Jack observed her closely, trying to glean more clues from her expression and tone. "Claire, if Mark did something bad to you, you can tell us. We need to know the truth so we can help you." 0

Tears welled up in Claire's eyes again; she felt immense pain and helplessness. "I didn't want to kill him; he meant so much to me. I love him, but we had many problems and conflicts. Sometimes he could be very rough, but I never thought about hurting him." 0

Jack nodded, his tone filled with understanding and sympathy. "Claire, if anything that night made you feel scared or coerced, you must tell us. This is not only for your sake but also to seek justice for Mark." 0

Claire looked at Jack, and suddenly, Mark's bloody head appeared in front of her, laughing as he said, "Rude? Hey! You were the one who said you liked it a little rough, right? You clearly enjoy it too!" 0

Claire shook her head, her eyes filled with panic as if she were trapped in a chaotic memory. Her face turned pale, and her body trembled slightly, as if Mark's apparition were truly present. She lowered her head, tears welling up in her eyes again, and choked out, "I... I was forced not to say... They know where my family is... where they work, I'm so scared..." 0

Jack furrowed his brow, filled with questions. He watched Claire's reaction, unable to determine whether she was fabricating another lie or finally beginning to reveal the truth. He knew that this woman's mental state was extremely fragile and that he had to guide her carefully to uncover the real clues. 0

"Claire," Jack said, his tone laced with uncertainty and caution. "You said someone is threatening you? Can you tell me more details? Who are they? Why are they threatening you?" 0

Claire took a deep breath, trying to calm herself as tears continued to stream down her face. "I don't know who they are..." 0

Jack looked at her, trying to extract more clues from her words. "Claire, you have to tell us more details. Who are these people? Why are they threatening you? Have you seen them or heard their voices?" 0
