Qin Feng finished those words and quickly walked forward, determined not to associate with those from the Peace Faction.
Most of them were corrupt officials, not only greedy but also incompetent, only knowing how to negotiate peace with the Jin Kingdom, while neglecting to protect the people of Song State's Territory. They were truly useless.

After hearing this, he understood that his current workplace was indeed not at home but at the Cavalry Command Office.
He let Liu Xian lead the way, mounted a Black Warhorse, and spurred it towards the Cavalry Command Office.
Upon arriving there, it was indeed very large. Although it wasn't resplendent with gold and jade, it was still very high-end and imposing, and it served as a significant military and political institution.
The Three Yamen of Tokyo City were also located here, so there were quite a few organizations, with Military Officials being particularly numerous.
The Three Yamen are the Imperial Guards Command Office, the Imperial Guard Cavalry Commandery, and the Imperial Guard Infantry Command Office.
The Imperial Guards Command Office is primarily responsible for the security of the palace. Most personnel are from the Palace Front Division, with a small number drawn from the other two divisions.
The Cavalry and Infantry are responsible for the defense of Tokyo City, boasting tens of thousands of Cavalry and Infantry troops, which is quite formidable.
There is a Commander of the Guard, a Deputy Commander, as well as several commanding officers and duties of the Imperial Guard Commander Liu Xian, along with some Military Officials responsible for administrative roles, holding various ranks.
Liu Xian took Qin Feng to a large room filled with numerous weapons and many documents.
These documents pertained to matters related to the Imperial Cavalry; some were historical records while others were recent submissions awaiting approval, including their military salaries and the replacement of Warhorses.
At first, Qin Feng understood nothing, but Liu Xian assisted him. He began to comprehend some things and handled a few matters, feeling somewhat tired yet pleased.
Before long, it was noon, and Qin Feng was starting to feel drowsy in the mahogany chair.
Seeing that it was nearly lunchtime, Liu Xian suggested they go eat since he had things to attend to as well.
"Brother Qin, it's almost lunchtime. Don't fall asleep! The Brothers downstairs want to get to know you. Why don't we have lunch together?"
Upon hearing about lunch, Qin Feng felt much less drowsy; he had been hungry for a while now, which might have contributed to his fatigue.
"Oh, then let's hurry up and eat! It shouldn't be at the Three Yamen; we'll go outside."
Although he wasn't very familiar with these official matters, he understood that it meant they would likely have a grand meal at an outside restaurant and share a few drinks to get acquainted.
"Liu Xian brother, please quickly inform those Military Officials downstairs so we can all have lunch together."
He is no longer the powerless Civil Official but a Military Official with real authority. Of course, he needs to maintain good relationships with the Brothers below him; it will make things easier in the future.
Liu Xian smiled and said, "Brother Qin, your Military Officials are waiting outside. They are just waiting for your word to come in."
With a clap of his large hands, footsteps began to echo from outside the door.
Several Military Officials clad in Black Armor entered, each wearing a black helmet. They were all tall and strong, exuding an air of authority and menace.
These Military Officials did not all hold the same rank; some were Commanders, dressed entirely in black armor with matching black trousers.
Their attire resembled his own—black armor—but his was heavier and sturdier.
Some were Duties of the Imperial Guard Commander Liu Xian, wearing black armor on their upper bodies and red trousers below, lacking full body protection, just like Liu Xian himself.
As these Military Officials entered, they all bowed respectfully, clasping their hands together in greeting, announcing their positions and names while saying, "Greetings, Deputy Commander."
Qin Feng accepted their greetings with a smile. The feeling of being elevated was delightful; these formidable Military Officials were his subordinates, all showing him respect.
He told them not to be overly formal; they would be Brothers from now on, looking out for each other, and he dismissed their excessive courtesy.
Upon closer inspection, he noticed that the number of Commanders and Duties of the Imperial Guard Commander Liu Xian was off. There should be at least a dozen people present.
Under the Deputy Commander, there should be several Commanders, and each Commander typically had five Duties of the Imperial Guard Commander Liu Xian under them. The numbers were significantly fewer.
Looking at Liu Xian with some confusion, he asked, "Liu Xian, isn't the number of people here incorrect? Are there still many who haven't arrived?"
Liu Xian's smile faded considerably as he became flustered. Brother Qin indeed had sharp eyes; there were indeed many missing. These were his good friends who did not take him seriously enough to notify them to come.
He couldn't directly call them out; otherwise, Brother Qin would not believe him.
His eyes involuntarily shifted left as he forced a smile.
"Indeed, some people did not come. Some have urgent matters to attend to and hurried off to handle them! They didn't even have time to eat. Others are dissatisfied with Brother Qin's position and harbor resentment, which is why they didn't show up."
"Don't worry about those people; they didn't come anyway. We, the Brothers, are loyal to you. We will work hard for you in the future."
The Military Officials by his side also expressed their loyalty, stating they would serve Brother Qin and do anything required.
Qin Feng noticed Liu Xian's anxious demeanor and suspected he was lying. It was clear that he had conflicts with some Military Officials, which led to his behavior.
It wouldn't be appropriate to criticize him openly; after all, he was looking out for himself, and these people were indeed loyal to him.
There is plenty of time ahead, and the other Military Officials can gradually get to know each other; there's no rush.
He laughed heartily and said, "Since they didn't come, we don't need to worry about them. Let's head out, brothers! We'll have a big feast and enjoy a few strong drinks."
Liu Xian and the others were also very happy and echoed his sentiment as they headed outside for a grand meal.
Not only were there disagreements among the High Officials of the court, but there were also differences among the Military Officials. Some had different temperaments, while others had different aspirations.
