Although she couldn't understand why her master was in a painting, Zeng Wenwen was confident that in time she would find out.

For the next week, Jiang Chen mostly stayed in the Falling Snow Courtyard setting up formations while Zeng Xianyi and Qin Xiaoya were in the capital investigating the whereabouts of the Heavenly Mechanism Twin Rings.
After a week’s time, the formations in Falling Snow Courtyard were nearly complete. The Gathering Spirit Formation began operating smoothly as spiritual energy continuously flowed into the courtyard. Although the spiritual energy was thin like silk and quite sparse at first, it gradually gathered; given enough time, the spiritual energy in Falling Snow Courtyard would surely become abundant.
