Old Liang Si's face was pale, his brows furrowed with a heavy expression. It seemed that Jiang Chen's confidence stemmed from genuine ability. Doubt and worry consumed Old Liang Si; given the current situation, even if Master Huang personally came, he would likely only be able to reach a truce with Qin Xiaoya. There was no way Master Huang would offend Qin Xiaoya for his sake.
As Old Liang Si was lost in thought, Qin Xiaoya approached. As Jiang Chen's maid, it was her duty to handle such trivial matters on behalf of her master. Seeing Old Liang Si and his group causing trouble in the restaurant, she greeted Jiang Chen before turning her attention to them.
"You have quite the nerve, don't you? Are you tired of living?" Qin Xiaoya said coldly as soon as she arrived.
Though she was just a woman, her presence was formidable, and Old Liang Si dared not offend her. He forced a smile and said, "Miss Qin, as you can see, I am the victim here. That brat has crippled my legs."
"Crippled or not, my Young Master could kill you in an instant if he wanted to. The fact that he hasn't is already showing mercy. Hurry up and get lost; you're just an eyesore here," Qin Xiaoya replied domineeringly.
"Miss Qin, you can't bully me like this! I've broken both my legs; I deserve an explanation!" Old Liang Si protested stubbornly.
"I know who your backer is. Fine, call him. I'll speak with him," Qin Xiaoya said coldly.
"Uh...," Old Liang Si hesitated immediately. There was no need to guess; with Qin Xiaoya involved, Master Huang would certainly give face.
With Qin Xiaoya suddenly appearing today, Old Liang Si felt utterly cornered. Even if Grandmaster Chen came later, with Qin Xiaoya present, the matter would surely end without resolution. "Mr. Jiang?" Old Liang Si repeated softly, feeling puzzled. Typically, young men were referred to as either 'sir' or 'young master'; it was rare to hear 'young lord'.
"Get lost," Qin Xiaoya said impatiently.
"We're leaving." Old Liang Si nodded and signaled for Liang Long and the others to carry him away.
Once Old Liang Si and his group left, the restaurant manager let out a sigh of relief and took down the 'closed' sign at the entrance, allowing business to resume as usual.
After leaving the restaurant and getting into his car, Old Liang Si quickly called Huang Qiujian.
"What’s up? Can't Grandmaster Chen help you?" Huang Qiujian's cold voice came through the phone.
"Uh, Grandmaster Chen is certainly not an issue; it's just that Master Huang, I wanted to inquire about someone," Old Liang Si said cautiously.
"Who?"
"I don't know this person's name, I only know that he is called Mr. Jiang."
