After leaving the private room, Zhou Rongli pressed his temples, a frown on his face, his thoughts unsettled.
"Xiao Jun, how do you plan to deal with those people?" Zhou Rongli asked after a moment's pause.

In truth, a married daughter naturally could not take over the family business. The matriarch was willing to let Zhou Rongli assume the position because of his impressive godson, Jiang Chen. Zhou Duanmei was self-aware; she was currently enjoying the shade under Zhou Rongli's tree and knew that the matriarch would never agree to her taking charge.
"Neither Zhou Duanmei nor Lianhua can do it," the matriarch added.
"Then let's have Zhou Qi, Zhou Pingming's son, take over as head of the family. Among the younger generation of the Zhou family, he is the most outstanding," Zhou Rongli suggested.
"If you don't oppose it, then it's fine for Zhou Qi to take on the role of head of the family," the matriarch nodded in agreement this time.
After all, Zhou Qi was a grandson of the Zhou family; it made sense for him to assume such a position. There was no other option now. The first item up for auction was a Ming Dynasty blue and white dragon vase, with a starting bid of two hundred million.
In Huaxia, blue and white porcelain possesses a unique charm, and thus, a well-preserved piece commands a hefty price. Jiang Chen had no interest in porcelain; he wouldn't bother bidding even if the price were two hundred million or even two hundred thousand.
However, Yue Hui was quite interested. When the bidding reached two hundred thirty million, Yue Hui decided not to continue. In the end, the Ming Dynasty blue and white dragon vase was purchased by an anonymous buyer for two hundred sixty million.
