The Snow Woman narrowed her eyes slightly, quietly observing the two before her in silence.
Time seemed to freeze as the atmosphere grew tense to its peak. After a long while, the Snow Woman finally parted her lips and slowly said, "Well then, since you have spoken so earnestly, I will reveal the truth to you.

You must retrieve a petal from an Eternal Ice Lotus to prove that you possess enough courage and perseverance."
Su Mu and the man in black gazed towards Ice Spirit Valley, where an overwhelming chill permeated the air, the ground blanketed in snow and ice, seemingly a gateway to hell.
"Ice Spirit Valley... that's the most dangerous place on the snow mountain!" Su Mu gasped.
The Snow Woman coldly remarked, "What? Are you afraid?"
The man in black took a deep breath and replied firmly, "No, we are not afraid! For the Di Ling Zhi, for the Heavenly Secrets Medical Manual, we are willing to face any trial!"
Ice Spirit Valley lived up to its name, filled with a bone-chilling cold. The valley entrance was covered in thick ice and snow, with howling winds and swirling snowflakes, resembling a vast ice cellar.
Su Mu and the man in black stood at the valley's mouth, hesitating for a moment. They knew that entering Ice Spirit Valley meant embarking on a perilous journey; one misstep could lead to their demise.
"Do we really have to go in?" Su Mu's voice trembled slightly with fear.
The man in black patted his shoulder and said resolutely, "We must go in! We have already promised the Snow Woman, and for the Heavenly Secrets Medical Manual, we have no other choice."
With that, the man in black stepped into Ice Spirit Valley first. Su Mu took a deep breath and followed him inside.
The moment they entered Ice Spirit Valley, an extreme cold rushed over them like a tidal wave. They felt their body temperature plummet sharply, as if they had been thrown into an icy cellar.
The chill was piercing, penetrating to the bone, causing them to shiver involuntarily; even breathing became heavy and laborious.
Looking around, the terrain within the valley was intricate and complex, resembling a labyrinth that left them bewildered.
Towering glaciers loomed all around, resembling slumbering giants that exuded an air of cold severity. The ground was riddled with cracks of varying widths, like the gaping maw of a demon, ready to swallow any unsuspecting life that fell into its depths.
There were also those bottomless Ice Caves, appearing as passages to the underworld, dark and unfathomable, shrouded in mystery. Walking here required utmost caution; a moment's inattention could lead to a fatal plunge into the abyss, with no chance of return.
With anxious hearts, they moved forward cautiously, each step feeling particularly laborious.
The biting cold wind howled around them, like countless sharp knives ruthlessly cutting into their faces, bringing waves of excruciating pain.
The chill penetrated their skin, reaching deep into their souls, causing their hands and feet to gradually grow numb, their senses beginning to blur.
At that moment, a sudden exclamation from the man in black broke through the tension: "Watch out!" Su Mu's heart raced; before he could fully comprehend the warning, a crisp cracking sound echoed beneath him.
He hurriedly looked down and was instantly drenched in cold sweat. A massive crack had appeared beneath his feet without him noticing, spreading towards him with lightning speed that left him astounded.
Panic-stricken, Su Mu's face turned as pale as paper, and he instinctively stumbled backward.
In the blink of an eye, the man in black darted over like a wraith, swiftly reaching Su Mu's side.
With quick reflexes, he grabbed Su Mu and exerted all his strength to pull him back from the edge of the crack. It was only then that Su Mu snapped back to reality, his heart racing as he patted his chest and gasped, "That was close! I almost..."
The man in black looked at him gravely and said in a low voice, "Ice Spirit Valley is fraught with danger; one misstep could lead to death. From now on, we must be doubly careful."
