Lu Kongwen supported his body against the door, struggling to stay upright and not collapse to the floor. The space was extremely cramped, with a toilet and sink taking up half of it, leaving barely enough room for bathing.
Not to mention that in this tiny space, accommodating two adults was a challenge. Although their forced position didn’t take up much space, he still felt a bit breathless.
In a daze, he felt as if he had been buried in a small square box, surrounded by concrete meant to trap him. Yet from the concrete emerged a warm and powerful serpent, breaking through his defenses and conquering his territory.
Where is this? he wondered to himself.
“Aunt Tu Ling, when can Brother Kongwen be discharged?” A childish voice came from behind the door that he was leaning against, indirectly answering his question.
But how did the little girl know? Confused and puzzled, he turned to look back. The person behind him was still obscured by the light, moving rhythmically.
What was happening? As the movements behind him intensified, his knees began to weaken, and a suppressed moan forced its way to his lips. Instinctively, he covered his mouth with one hand to stifle any sound, hearing the person behind him chuckle softly as their movements slowed down.
“Are you afraid they’ll hear us?” The voice was incredibly gentle, like a pool of spring water warmed by the sun, flowing into the deeper parts of his body at just the right temperature.
The sound brought back all his memories; he remembered what he was doing at that moment. He and his relatively new boyfriend were hiding in the small bathroom of a single hospital room making love. It all started because he had been injured and found it inconvenient to wash up in the hospital. His single father took on all the responsibility of caring for him until he would be well enough to be discharged in two or three days. About half an hour ago, he had suggested taking another shower because it was stuffy in the room despite having the window open, and he felt sticky from sweat.
His father had volunteered to help him after finding his daughter again, but what began as a simple shower turned into a silent act of intimacy that couldn’t be overheard by anyone who might return unexpectedly.
At first, he leaned over the sink; overwhelmed by the vigorous thrusting from behind, he bumped his head against the faucet. His boyfriend gently cradled his head in his hands and suggested they move to the bed for more comfort.
Just as they were about to open the door without any clothes on, they heard someone enter the hospital room. With no choice but to lean against the door, he found himself unable to speak due to what was happening below; all conversation was answered by the culprit behind him.
Tu Ling asked what they were doing; Guan Ning replied they were showering; Little Orange said Dad should come out so they could take Brother Kongwen and Aunt Tu Ling to play at the amusement park; Guan Ning said they would be done soon.
As Lu Kongwen was being “washed,” his mischievous boyfriend suddenly gripped him tightly, making it impossible for him to suppress any sounds struggling in his throat. A moan escaped through the crack of the door, clearly audible outside.
The little girl’s voice came almost immediately from just outside their makeshift barrier: “What’s wrong with Brother Kongwen?”
Feeling utterly embarrassed, Lu Kongwen sensed that probing deeper inside him intensified even more. Meanwhile, Guan Ning’s steady voice answered confidently without a hint of hesitation: “Your Brother Kongwen is silly; he bumped his hand.”
I bumped into you!
But due to the moans preceding his curse words, Lu Kongwen chose once again to cover his mouth with his hand, biting down on his lip as he endured this torturous pleasure.
Guan Ning’s technique was always on point; even while facing another man’s back, he approached it with an earnestness akin to making love with a celestial being. His previously vulnerable spot quickly accepted this invasion and even began to revel in this unorthodox desire.
The first time discomfort occupied eighty percent of his thoughts; by the second time, he moved along with Guan Ning’s rhythm more easily and found himself well taken care of as he approached release.
How many times had it been? He couldn’t count nor did he want to because it was enough that it was with this person.
“Dad, can I go buy snacks with Aunt Tu Ling? How much should I get?” The sensible little girl slowly walked toward the exit at Tu Ling’s call when a weak and intermittent voice came from behind the door in response: “Four… forty minutes…”
"Hmm? Since when did money get measured by time?" Little Orange thought about asking for clarification, but was suddenly grabbed by the hand by an auntie. Looking up, she saw the auntie's gentle smile. "Let's not ask him; just think about what you want to eat and buy. Besides, they don't like the zoo at all. Let's go have fun and wear pretty dresses."
Guan Ning, who had been amused for forty minutes, deliberately straightened his back. He heard Lu Kongwen's groan overlap with the sound of a door closing outside, followed by the weak young man's low, husky voice returning, speaking in a soft, rhythmic Sichuan accent with words he couldn't quite understand.
In such situations, it was generally assumed that Lu Kongwen was cursing.
As the image of a good father, Guan Ning held him tightly in his arms, pushing deeper into the warmth of his body. Knowing that no one was outside anymore, Lu Kongwen no longer held back; he cast aside all shame and tension, surrendering himself completely to the man behind him.
How Lu Kongwen ended up back on the bed was unclear. As someone still recovering from an illness, he clearly couldn't match Guan Ning's strength at any time.
But he only knew that before falling asleep, he lay in Guan Ning's embrace and received a kiss that carried a hint of mint.
