"I have never eaten the meat of a Divine Beast before. Do you think it should be roasted or steamed?" A sinister smile appeared on Mo Wen's face as he drew a dagger and slowly approached Xiao Hei.
"Hey, hey! Boss, I was wrong!" Seeing Mo Wen pull out the dagger, Xiao Hei quickly begged for mercy.
"Alright, I'll let you off this time. Do you have any other skills? Like being able to take on ten opponents at once?" Mo Wen sheathed his dagger and continued to inquire about skills. Although the mind-reading ability could pierce through hearts, it had no lethal power.
"Why do we need to fight? My master taught me that if others don't offend me, I won't offend them. Besides, isn't it enough that you're here? With such a wise and powerful leader like you, the head of a sect, my safety is guaranteed." Having just awakened, Xiao Hei was in awe of Mo Wen, who had pulled him back from the brink of death after hearing about his experiences during his slumber.

Initially planning to leave immediately upon finding Xiao Hei, he ultimately dismissed that thought at the last moment. It would be better to face them head-on rather than run away; if they couldn't win, they could always escape later.
During this time, Mo Wen realized that his mindset had become problematic; he seemed somewhat afraid of fighting against Cultivators or martial artists without knowing why. He wanted to reverse this avoidance mentality through combat while also testing his own strength.
