"I'll pick you up at the airport." Lin Bingbing's voice trembled, and all her unspoken words condensed into this one sentence.
"Okay." Jiang Chen did not refuse.
After Lin Bingbing hung up the phone, she looked at herself in the mirror. Her previous disheartened demeanor transformed into a radiant glow, her cheeks flushed with a slight warmth.
Day after day, she had longed for him, and tonight she would finally meet the person she had been thinking about constantly.

Hearing her daughter's words, Mother Lin's expression darkened as she asked, "What friend?"

"It's not me who invited Jiang Chen; he came on his own after hearing that I got injured while filming," Lin Bingbing said proudly. The fact that Jiang Chen hadn't forgotten about her made her ecstatic.
Seeing her daughter like this, Mother Lin knew that saying more would be pointless. However, she was genuinely curious about what kind of man could make her daughter so infatuated. Was his background even stronger than that of the Second Young Master of the Shyr family?
If this Jiang Chen had an even more powerful background, Mother Lin thought she should support her daughter's feelings. After all, since her daughter wasn't married yet, it wouldn't hurt to scout for potential sons-in-law.
"Ahem, Bingbing, since he came specifically to see you, why don't you invite him over for lunch? I'll cook personally," Mother Lin suggested.

"Okay, but Mom, please don’t judge him by appearances. And whatever you do, don’t say anything sarcastic in front of Jiang Chen. Also, you can’t just call him by his name; you have to call him Mr. Jiang," Lin Bingbing said seriously.
Lin Bingbing was well aware of Jiang Chen's strength; he was almost like a god. He had once killed the son of Xiao Junyong, the Underground Boss of Jiang City, without breaking a sweat. Xiao Junyong didn’t dare to utter a word against him; such a person deserved respect.
"Bingbing, if you can call him by his name, why can't I? I'm an elder," Mother Lin said unhappily.

Lin Bingbing wore a cute red knitted hat, a long down jacket, and a pair of chunky sneakers. Of course, for a big star, a mask was essential.
