The cave rose to a height of around eighty to ninety feet, its ceiling arched gracefully. The entire cave was elongated, the widest part measuring about a hundred feet across, with a floor that spanned several miles. The structure resembled a flattened bell, wide at the bottom and narrow at the top. One side of the stone wall was scorched red by lava, emitting a glow that illuminated the entire cave. The red light observed from above originated from this very wall.
Standing at the bottom of the cave, Mo Wen took a moment to reassess this hidden chamber within the Mountain Body. The walls were smooth as mirrors, and while he recalled the walls from the Cloud Mist Forest cave vividly, he noticed something different here. Unlike the walls formed by lava in that cave, these appeared to be artificially carved and polished, not only smooth but also perfectly even.
A refreshing energy flowed through the cave, invigorating anyone who inhaled it. Just a single breath could awaken one's spirit. After experiencing this familiar yet strange sensation, Mo Wen held his breath and focused intently; he dared not immerse himself in it until he understood its source.
After searching the cave thoroughly, he found nothing. Although he had anticipated this outcome, confirming it still left him feeling somewhat disheartened. He had gone to such lengths to blast open this cave only to find it empty. Unwilling to give up, he searched once more before reluctantly leaving. He had already spent enough time in this cave and needed to check on Xiao Hei's condition; after all, their current situation was far from reassuring.
Sitting in the Cave, his brow furrowed, Mo Wen reflected on his experiences within. It felt as though he had overlooked something important. The walls were smooth as mirrors, and while there were some scattered items on the ground, they were merely stones formed from solidified lava.
"Hmm?" That familiar energy surged again, jolting Mo Wen from his thoughts. He had not activated the cave's sealing Magic Circle when leaving; using it consumed resources with each activation, and its effectiveness diminished over time. Since there was nothing in the cave, sealing it seemed unnecessary. Moreover, the exit was right within his Cave, which was already layered with Magic Circles for isolation. With him guarding this place, there seemed little need for further sealing. This cave deep within the Mountain Body could also block any sensing or probing; if trouble arose, hiding with Xiao Hei here would be an excellent choice in this underground world devoid of cultivators beyond a certain level.
"How could I forget about that!" He slapped his thigh and prepared to rise.
"Right! How did I forget that!" He smacked his forehead and halted halfway up before sitting back down to adjust his state.
"Haha! Heaven is helping me!" Two days later, laughter echoed through the Cave as Mo Wen spent that time deciphering the invigorating energy and engaging in long-overdue cultivation. The essence emanating from the cave was pure Spiritual Power. His efforts over these two days significantly increased his Divine Liquid; perhaps it was due to his prolonged absence from cultivation, but the influence of that divine power should not be underestimated. At this moment, his Realm had reached the early stage of Concentration, with mid-stage just around the corner—this was achieved without any auxiliary materials. Previously at the Jin Family's cultivation site, he had expended considerable resources to reach the early mid-stage of Concentration.
