Luna's voice suddenly fell silent, her small head furrowing as if she had encountered an insurmountable problem. The once sparkling light in her eyes was now overshadowed by a veil of worry. Her tiny brows were tightly knitted together, as if trying to squeeze out all her troubles. Yet even so, there remained a flame burning in her gaze, a steadfast determination akin to the plum blossoms that bloom proudly in the harshest winter, stubborn and full of hope.
At that moment, Aelia sat vacantly on the edge of the bed in the bedroom. Her exquisite makeup had long faded, revealing a gaunt and pale face. She resembled a soulless doll, completely oblivious to her surroundings. The betrayal of her husband struck her heart like a sharp blade, leaving her in unbearable pain. She could not believe that the man who once whispered sweet nothings in her ear, the one who promised to walk through life with her, could betray her so cruelly.
Those beautiful memories had turned into ironic jokes, echoing painfully in her mind. Qin Si cautiously accompanied her by her side, fearful that she might do something foolish. She understood that the pain within Aelia could not be expressed in words; all she could do was silently guard her presence and offer a sliver of comfort. Gently holding Aelia's hand, she felt only coldness. Worry filled her heart, yet she did not know what to do.
Meanwhile, the eldest brother lay weakly on the bed, his complexion so pale it was almost transparent. The torment of Magic Backlash left him in excruciating pain, every inch of his skin feeling as if it were being scorched by flames. He groaned in agony, beads of sweat forming on his forehead and soaking the pillow beneath him. Second Brother and Brother San stood nearby, sighing heavily; the atmosphere was oppressive and heavy.
Watching their elder brother suffer filled them with guilt and self-reproach. They knew he had endured Magic Backlash to protect them, yet they felt powerless to help him, forced to watch him suffer helplessly. They had tried various methods to lift the curse of Magic Backlash from him, but all efforts were in vain. Those so-called renowned doctors and mages were at a loss when faced with his condition, shaking their heads and sighing in despair. This left them feeling hopeless, as if the entire world had lost its light.
Just then, Luna stumbled over to her brother's bedside. Concern was etched across her small face, and her big eyes sparkled with tears. She reached out her chubby little hand and gently grasped his hand, speaking in a baby voice filled with determination, "Big Brother, don’t be afraid! Luna will help you!" Though her voice was tender and youthful, it carried a strength that seemed to dispel the gloom in the room like a ray of sunshine.
Her presence ignited a flicker of hope within those who had felt despair just moments before. Without hesitation, Luna began to perform the magic she knew to alleviate his suffering.
Her small hands waved in the air, chanting softly as mysterious runes flowed from her fingertips. A faint Magical Fluctuation filled the air, a warm and gentle power slowly infusing into her elder brother's body.
Brilliant beams of magical light blossomed from Luna's tiny hands, illuminating the entire room. The lights danced like sprites, brimming with vitality and energy. They swirled around her brother's body, gradually penetrating every cell, dispelling the dark forces within him.
As the magic progressed, her brother's complexion gradually turned rosy, and his breathing became much steadier. He no longer groaned in pain but lay quietly on the bed, feeling the warm power flowing through him.
Second Brother and Brother San watched in astonishment, unable to believe that a newborn girl could wield such powerful magic. It was simply unfathomable, surpassing their understanding. Qin Si also gaped in surprise at the scene before her. She knew Luna was extraordinary, but she never imagined she possessed such incredible Magical Talent.
As time passed, beads of sweat began to accumulate on Luna's forehead, and her small face grew pale. Yet she gritted her teeth and persevered, refusing to relax for even a moment. She understood that this was a crucial step in changing her family's Destiny; she could not afford to fail.
Finally, when the last trace of dark power was dispelled, Luna ceased her spellcasting. Her small body swayed slightly as if about to fall to the ground. Qin Si hurriedly stepped forward to support her, asking with concern, "Miss, are you alright?"
Luna shook her head weakly and replied, "I'm fine; my brother... my brother is okay now."
Everyone quickly turned their attention to her brother, who slowly opened his eyes. He moved his body slightly, feeling the surge of power within him, and a joyful smile spread across his face.
"I... I really feel better?" he said excitedly, his voice trembling.
Second Brother and Brother San rushed forward to carefully check their brother's condition. They discovered that the Magic Backlash Curse within him had completely vanished and that he had regained his health.
Overjoyed, they embraced tightly, tears of happiness streaming down their faces. They knew that Luna had created a miracle; she not only saved their brother but also their entire family.
Aelia appeared at the doorway at some point, staring blankly at the scene before her. She felt joy for her brother's recovery but sadness for the betrayal she had suffered. Slowly, she approached Luna and squatted down in front of her, speaking with a trembling voice, "Luna, you... you truly are a miracle."
Luna looked up at Aelia. "Aelia Mother..." Her voice was youthful yet filled with strength. "Next, we..."
At that moment, Leonard was lost in a world of tenderness, completely unaware of the earth-shattering changes occurring within the Magic Castle.
He held the beautiful woman in his arms, his gaze hazy, a hint of a smug smile playing at the corners of his mouth. Leonard's Concubine nestled against him, sweetly flattering him in soft tones, making him feel like the most successful man in the world.
"My Lord of the Fortress, you are truly handsome and charming; I adore you so much," she cooed, her fingers tracing circles on his chest, teasing his desires.
Leonard laughed heartily, pinching her cheek and proudly declaring, "Of course! Just look at who I am! In the entire Magic Castle, it’s all under my command!"
He was completely oblivious to the fact that his betrayal had brought great peril to the Magic Castle. He was too engrossed in enjoying the pleasures before him, forgetting the responsibilities and missions he bore.
Outside, the moonlight was hazy, and a gentle breeze rustled through the treetops, creating a soft whispering sound. This beautiful night stood in stark contrast to the tense atmosphere within the Magic Castle, highlighting Leonard's indifference and ruthlessness.
Meanwhile, under Luna's magic, the curse on his elder brother was melting away like ice and snow. His tightly shut eyes trembled slightly as he felt a warm power flowing slowly within him. This power nourished his parched body like spring rain, dispelling the darkness and pain inside him.
His painful groans gradually subsided, and his complexion began to regain its color. He tried to move his fingers and was astonished to find he could control his body! This filled him with joy, reigniting a spark of hope in his eyes.
He slowly opened his eyes to see Luna’s youthful yet resolute face. Her small hand tightly grasped his.
"Luna..." he said weakly, his voice hoarse, "I... I feel so much better."
Luna smiled sweetly and said in a baby voice, "Big Brother, you will definitely get better!"
Hearing Luna's voice stirred a warm current within him. He knew that this little infant was using her powerful magic to change not only his destiny but also that of their entire family.
Taking a deep breath, he felt the strength within him gradually returning and a look of excitement and relief spread across his face. He knew he would finally be able to shake off this damned curse and stand up again!
Second Brother and Brother San had been anxiously watching their elder brother’s transformation. When they saw him open his eyes and his complexion brighten, they were overwhelmed with joy.
They hurried over and tightly grasped Luna’s small hand, gratitude overflowing from them.
"Luna, thank you so much! You are truly our family's savior!" Second Brother exclaimed with trembling excitement.
"Yes, Luna, you are simply a miracle! We don’t even know how to thank you!" Brother San echoed, tears shimmering in his eyes.
Luna winced slightly from their grip but didn’t struggle; instead, she sweetly replied, "Second Brother, Brother San, there’s no need to thank me; I just did what I should do."
Seeing Luna’s understanding demeanor moved Second Brother and Brother San even more deeply.
They knew that this little baby girl possessed a kind and brave heart, and she would surely lead the family out of their troubles and restore their glory.
At that moment, Aelia, supported by Qin Si, slowly walked into the room. Upon learning about her elder brother's condition, her eyes sparkled with renewed hope, and a faint smile appeared on her previously gloomy face. She approached her brother's bedside, carefully observing him and noticing that he indeed looked much better than before. Her heart was filled with joy and trust in Luna.
"How are you feeling, brother?" she asked softly, her tone gentle and caring.
Her brother looked at Aelia, a grateful smile spreading across his face. He knew that Aelia had always cared for him, but the recent events had taken a toll on her body and spirit.
"I feel much better, Aelia," he replied weakly. "Thanks to Luna, she saved me."
Aelia turned to look at Luna, then knelt down in front of her and gently stroked her small face.
"Luna, thank you so much," she said softly. "Not only did you save my brother, but you also gave our entire family hope."
"Aelia Mama..." Luna's voice was tender yet filled with strength. "Next, we need to..."
Luna hesitated, her gaze shifting toward the doorway as if sensing something unusual. Qin Si followed suit, his expression serious as he looked in the same direction.
"The Third Young Master is here..." Qin Si whispered, his voice low as if afraid of being overheard.
Lucius stepped into the room against the light. Dressed in a silver Magic Robe, he appeared even more imposing. The playful smile that usually adorned his face was replaced by a solemn expression.
His sharp gaze swept across everyone in the room before finally resting on Luna's small figure. The air seemed to freeze as everyone held their breath, quietly waiting for Lucius to speak.
He approached Luna, his previously flippant tone now serious: "Little One, I admit I misjudged you before." He crouched down to meet her gaze and gently stroked her soft hair. "I didn't expect that you are the true hope of our Magic Castle."
Luna tilted her head, innocently blinking her eyes as if not fully understanding Lucius's words. But she could sense that this Brother San before her seemed different from before.
"From today onward, I, Lucius, will no longer be the frivolous playboy who only knows how to indulge in pleasure." Lucius stood up, his voice strong and resolute as if declaring his determination to everyone present. "I will do everything I can for the future of Magic Castle!"
Hearing this, her brother clenched his fists in excitement, a hint of color rising on his pale face. "Third Brother, it’s wonderful that you think this way! With our brothers united in purpose, we will surely bring glory back to Magic Castle!"
Second Brother stepped forward as well and patted Lucius on the shoulders. "As long as we work together, there’s no difficulty we cannot overcome!"
Lucius looked around at his family members whose eyes were filled with hope; an unprecedented strength surged within him. He took a deep breath and declared loudly: "Alright! Since that's the case, let’s start working hard together from now on! Brother, your health has just recovered; you need to rest well. I will do my best to find suitable magical potions to strengthen your magical foundation. Second Brother, I know you've been troubled by that traitorous friend; I will help you investigate the truth and clear your name. As for Father..."
Lucius paused for a moment, a complex emotion flashing in his eyes. "I will find an opportunity to have a good talk with him so he understands that the family's glory is far more important than his personal desires!"
Aelia looked at the vibrant scene before her, feeling a mix of emotions. She had lost hope for the future, but Luna's appearance was like a ray of light, illuminating her dark world. "Aelia Mama, don't thank me," Luna said in her baby voice. "I just want everyone to be happy."
Qin Si watched from the side, unable to suppress a smile. She knew that the future of the Magic Castle would surely become brighter because of Luna's presence.
In the following days, an uplifting atmosphere enveloped the Magic Castle. The eldest brother, with Lucius's help, began to actively regain his magical abilities. The Second Brother also found his resolve again and started investigating the truth behind his betrayal by friends years ago. Lucius was busier than ever, managing daily affairs of the Magic Castle while trying to mend his relationship with Father.
All these changes stemmed from Luna. Every day, she flitted around the Magic Castle like a joyful little bird. With her innocent and radiant smile, she touched everyone around her. With her powerful magic, she assisted those in need. With her small strength, she was changing the entire Destiny of the Magic Castle.
As evening fell, the sunset bathed the Magic Castle in warm hues. Luna sat on a swing in the garden, watching her family bustle about, a satisfied smile on her face. A gentle breeze tousled her hair, making her look even more adorable.
"I wonder what the future of the Magic Castle will be like..." Luna murmured to herself. Just then, Qin Si rushed over with a hint of panic on her face. "Luna, something's wrong! Madam...!"
