Lin Che knelt in the center of the Training Ground on the Azure Jade Stone Slate, his fingertips digging deep into the cracks of the bricks. Blood dripped from the corner of his mouth, glimmering with an eerie blue hue under the moonlight. He knew this was a sign of the Dark Ice Gu Poison acting up—three days ago, someone had slipped something into the Celebratory Wine. 0

"Chaotic vital energy, depleted Spiritual Veins." The voice of Elder Law Enforcement was as cold as a blade, "From this day forth, you are stripped of your direct lineage status and shall never enter the inner courtyard again." 0

Gasps echoed from the observation platform. Lin Che looked up to see his father, Lin Zhentian, seated in the main position, his Black Brocade Robe adorned with Silver Cloud Patterns fluttering slightly in the night breeze. The face that bore a striking resemblance to his own was terrifyingly calm, as if he were gazing at a stranger. 0

"Father..." he began to speak but was abruptly interrupted. 0

"Disgraceful fool!" Lin Zhentian suddenly swept his sleeve aside, the Xuan Iron Family Master Token hanging at his waist clashing against the jade seat with a sharp crack, "Get him out of here at once!" 0

As two enforcement disciples seized Lin Che, he caught sight of his cousin Lin Xiao smirking from behind the crowd. The boy wore a newly acquired Ink Jade Chi-patterned Sword at his waist, clearly a trophy from when Lin Che had slain the Three-Eyed Demon Ape on Cangwu Mountain just half a month prior. 0

The sound of Hour of the Dog's Bangzi echoed as Lin Che stood at the door of the woodshed, clutching a tattered blanket. The early spring night wind swept through his disheveled hair like Peach Petals, while in the distance, the Liuli Lanterns in the inner courtyard outlined the eaves in golden silhouettes. Just three months ago, he had claimed victory in the Family Competition here; even the long-secluded Ancestor had applauded and remarked, "This child is like me." 0

Suddenly, a searing pain shot through his palm. Lin Che opened his hand to find that the Bronze Ring he had worn since childhood was burning hot. Underneath its dark green Bronze Rust, faint vein-like patterns emerged as if something deep within his Bloodline was awakening. 0

"At the third brick on the east wall of the ancestral hall at Ugly Hour and three quarters." 0

When an ethereal female voice whispered in his ear, Lin Che nearly knocked over the tung oil lamp in his hand. He was on duty tonight to clean the Ancestral Hall; at this moment, the vast hall was empty except for hundreds of eternal lamps flickering before the shrine, casting shadows on the Ancestral Spirits' tablets. 0

The Copper Ring grew increasingly hot, almost searing into his flesh. Compelled by an unseen force, Lin Che reached toward the east wall, where starlight suddenly seeped through the gaps between Azure Bricks. The moment he touched the third brick, the entire wall dissolved into a curtain of water, revealing a deep Passageway behind it. 0

At the center of the Underground Palace hung a Bronze Ancient Mirror that took his breath away. The mirror frame was adorned with Panlong Patterns embedded with Twenty-Eight Constellations, yet its surface was shrouded in Blood-colored Mist. As a drop of his blood fell onto the mirror's surface, the mist surged violently, revealing a phantom figure of a Palace-Dressed Woman. 0

"Sixteen years..." The woman lightly tapped her fingertips, and a crimson-gold Talisman appeared on Lin Che's forehead. "They actually placed two blood curses on you." 0

Countless images suddenly flooded her mind: the burning pavilion on a stormy night, her mother's white garments fluttering as she fell from the cliff, and then her father... no, the man wearing the Family Master Token had the same face as her father, but there was no crescent-shaped scar behind his right ear. 0

"The current head of the family is a Shadow Puppet." Spirit's words confirmed his most terrifying suspicion. "Your true father is currently..." 0

The Underground Palace suddenly shook violently. Lin Che grasped the light blade that Spirit had conjured and turned around just in time to see a figure approaching from behind, causing his pupils to constrict—his Ancestor, who should have been in seclusion, was wielding the Blood-Dripping Longsword, with eyes glowing an abnormal shade of bluish-gray. 0
