After careful consideration, Mo Wen decided to try a relatively safer method first—blood recognition. However, as soon as his blood dripped onto the little Tree, it almost turned the entire sapling red. The blood quickly slid down and seeped into the white crystalline powder at the roots of the sapling, disappearing without a trace. After waiting for two hours without any success, Mo Wen sat nearby, not idle but instead regulating his breathing in preparation for the next refining attempt. He brought his hands close to the sapling and began to circulate his Kung Fu... 0

"Uh..." The Little Sapling's leaves began to wilt under the influence of the Law of Power. Mo Wen hurriedly withdrew his hands, but even after pulling back, the sapling's condition did not improve. This was somewhat expected yet also surprising. "Forget it, I can't waste it!" He yanked the sapling out of the ground and stuffed it into his mouth. It was better to let it die in his stomach than to watch it wither away; after all, if it was going to die anyway, he might as well make full use of its remaining value. 0

After swallowing the sapling, he looked at the white crystalline powder in the box. Although Elder Zhu had said it held no value, Mo Wen felt that since it originally contained abundant divine power as a top-grade material, even if it had been consumed, the remnants should not go to waste. He had spent ten ingots on it after all, so he grabbed a handful of the crystalline powder and began to ingest it. 0

"Hmm? No effect?" Mo Wen opened his eyes and stared at the powder in the box. Then he picked up the box and poured its contents directly into his mouth, making sure to tap the bottom of the box before taking a sip of tea to wash it down. Regardless of whether he could absorb it or not, at least he would be full—that was Mo Wen's thought. Of course, what mattered most was that he felt sorry for spending those ten ingots. He put away the box and Jade Tablet, sitting upright at his desk while waiting for whatever he had consumed to take effect. 0

Sitting at his desk for an entire night, Mo Wen felt only a sense of fullness without experiencing any of the effects he had hoped for. At least he could comfort himself with the fact that his ten ingots hadn’t gone to waste. 0

"Oh? Are you leaving now, young friend? There are still two days until our agreed date; you could enjoy some time in town," said Zhu Chi when dawn broke and Mo Wen arrived at Huo Lou. 0

"Could it be that Elder Zhu is not yet ready?" Mo Wen replied. 0

"Hehe, what I prepared for you has long been ready; I’m just surprised you’re so quick to prepare for departure," Zhu Chi chuckled awkwardly. 0

"That's good to hear. Since you are ready, I shall set off today while it's still early." 0

"Alright then, since you're prepared, I will hand over the supplies I promised you. Please check them carefully," Zhu Chi said as he took out a storage bag and handed it to Mo Wen. Mo Wen accepted the storage bag and stuffed it into his robe. Seeing this action surprised Zhu Chi a bit. 0

"Huo Lou has always been known for its reputation; if I cannot trust you, then I cannot trust Huo Lou," Mo Wen said with a bow upon noticing Zhu Chi's surprised expression. 0

"Very well then! I wish you a smooth journey; I will await your return here," Zhu Chi replied with a bow as well, and they bid farewell. 0

Once outside Huo Lou, Mo Wen headed straight towards Lava Sea. According to his previous agreement with Zhu Chi, he needed to reach Lava Sea Dock managed by Huo Lou in order to enter Lava Sea. Of course, returning would be similar; there would naturally be someone there to receive him at this dock. 0
