Listening to Elder Zhu's words, Mo Wen couldn’t help but recall everything he had encountered in the Cloud Mist Forest. In comparison, it seemed that his initial speculations were indeed true. If so, it was truly marvelous—a wonder! Above ground, there were mountains, lakes, rivers, and various creatures living within them, while underground lay a palace filled with lava.
“Junior understands. If I were to lose my way within it, what should I do?” This was a crucial question. If what Elder Zhu said was true and aligned with his own guesses, then it was very likely he could get lost in there.
“Based on the methods currently provided by this establishment, that is indeed a problem. However, Old Man has a suggestion that you might try: use the continent's map along with the Timer and Directional Device provided by this establishment to cross-reference them. “That method seems feasible. I will follow your advice and search for a cultivation site within the mapped area,” Mo Wen replied. The map of this continent was already in his mind; it was given to him by Old Lu. With Elder Zhu’s tools and methods in hand, Mo Wen felt reassured—he no longer had to worry about getting lost underground. That experience was quite unpleasant. If it weren’t for Xiao Hei, he would be extremely reluctant to enter underground again.
“Good! Since you have agreed to Old Man’s proposal, let me tell you about the items I can provide. If you find anything lacking, you will need to procure it yourself.” Elder Zhu handed Mo Wen a list detailing the items and quantities available: Lava Skiff, Timer, Directional Device, and some other miscellaneous items. Additionally, he gave Mo Wen a pass for Huo Lou; according to Elder Zhu, this pass would allow him to purchase items at the lowest prices in Huo Lou. He also retrieved the Little Sapling he had won in yesterday’s auction along with a Jade Tablet inscribed with instructions on how to plant it.
Mo Wen began his shopping spree with great enthusiasm. As for the items provided by Elder Zhu, he would collect them when he set off.
That day, Mo Wen became Huo Lou's largest employer for a single day. Comparing Elder Zhu’s information about the Lava Sea with his own experiences in the Cloud Mist Forest, he started buying up everything he could find—even acquiring Huo Lou’s only submersible Lava Skiff. Of course, most of Mo Wen's purchases were life-saving items; like the submersible Lava Skiff which could only accommodate one person and required spiritual energy to operate. Although he felt a pinch when paying due to his frugality, when faced with the choice between his life and money, he would undoubtedly choose life without hesitation.
