"Brothers, follow me to take the head of that old man Yin Qian!" Sitting atop the Demon Beast, Hei Hu could no longer contain himself after enduring yet another humiliation from Yin Qian. Previously, Yin Qian had made it clear he did not wish to face him directly while standing on the city wall. Now that the opponent had come out, how could Hei Hu allow himself to be humiliated again? He drew his sword and charged towards the Yinzhou Garrison with his troops.
"Form up! Fire!" Yin Qian watched as Hei Hu rushed forward but did not engage him directly. The distance of a mile was neither long nor short, just enough for the cavalry and infantry of Black Tiger Camp to create space. Seeing that Yin Qian remained still and heard him shout "Fire," Hei Hu instinctively shivered, realizing something was wrong. Suddenly, a rain of arrows shot forth from behind the Yinzhou Garrison, filling the sky as they descended upon him. He swung his sword to deflect the arrows aimed at him, but those around him were not so fortunate; many were struck down and fell from their mounts, trampled by the Demon Beasts charging behind them. Some did not even have time to scream before meeting their end beneath their own beasts' hooves. Nevertheless, most of the cavalry managed to push through this wave of arrows and into the ranks of the Yinzhou Garrison. The battle began in earnest as both sides clashed, soldiers against soldiers and generals against generals. It could be described as a massacre; the cavalry of Black Tiger Camp burst into the ranks of Yinzhou Garrison only to be surrounded by large shields and cut down by strange long spears thrusting out from behind them. Even those several Realms higher than their opponents could not escape death.
Outside the northern gate of Yinzhou City, the sounds of battle echoed under the moonlight as soldiers from both sides fought fiercely. The commanders also began their duels, with Yin Qian and Hei Hu targeting each other. The outcome of this war hinged on whether one of them would retreat or fall. However, as soon as Hei Hu faced Yin Qian, he regretted it; Yin Qian's Realm was higher than his own, and his hard-earned troops were being slaughtered relentlessly. The tide of battle was turning against him as he watched his soldiers fall one after another, rage filling his eyes.
"You little black dog! To engage with an old man while distracted is simply courting death!" Taking advantage of Hei Hu's momentary lapse in focus, Yin Qian swung down with his large blade. Hei Hu instinctively raised his sword to block it, but it shattered in his hands, leaving him filled with shock and unwillingness.
"Boss!" The other commanders of Black Tiger Camp cried out in despair upon witnessing their leader's demise. Their shout plunged the chaotic battlefield into an eerie silence.
"The boss is dead! Run!" Someone shouted in panic, and in an instant, the soldiers of Black Tiger Camp who had been fighting fiercely against Yinzhou Garrison turned tail and fled in disarray.
"Whoosh! Boom!" A firework exploded in the night sky, causing the fleeing soldiers of Black Tiger Camp to freeze in confusion—had Yinzhou Garrison already begun celebrating?
"Kill without mercy!" Yin Qian's thunderous command snapped them back to reality as they hurriedly continued their escape. The Yinzhou Garrison began their pursuit, while Cheng Shi, who had been waiting behind Black Tiger Camp, also closed in on the fleeing soldiers.
"Lord Yin, spare us! We are willing to follow you and serve you like dogs and horses!" Surrounded on both sides, thousands who had fled were reduced to mere hundreds; all commanders of Black Tiger Camp had been slain.
"Kill without mercy!" The only response to their pleas for mercy was Yin Qian's cold command.
On the city wall, Yin Jianren and Mo Wen stood together witnessing the entire slaughter. When they heard their father issue the order for no mercy, Yin Jianren clenched his fists tightly—a sight that did not escape Mo Wen's notice.
"Brother Jianren, showing mercy to enemies is a desecration to our fallen soldiers," Mo Wen said as he patted Yin Jianren on the shoulder before turning to descend from the wall.
That night, the infamous Black Tiger Mountain was obliterated.
