"You've discovered that the Old Eight are following you," Wang Tian said, his tone laced with irritation. He was not foolish; by now, he was certain that Mo Wen had already noticed the tail behind him and had cleverly led him here.
"Ah, you didn't quite understand my words. It's a miracle that your comprehension skills have managed to reach this realm," Mo Wen replied, feigning maturity as he shook his head in resignation. Wang Tian's face twisted with anger, yet he dared not express it.
"Let me put it this way: I am entrusted with a task to deal with you. Initially, I had no idea how to accomplish this until your Wang Ba came right in front of me..." In Mo Wen's narrative, he was tasked with taking care of Wang Tian, either injuring him or rendering him useless. He had been pondering how to achieve this until Wang Tian's lackey barged in, leading to the embarrassing scene at the teahouse. With his words, he made Wang Tian uncomfortable, and naturally, the person who had entrusted him would not let the matter rest easily, resulting in the current situation. He spun an elaborate tale from start to finish and mentally gave himself a thumbs-up at the end. Watching too many stories had its benefits; when it came to lying, he was truly a genius.
"Who is it?!" After hearing Mo Wen's vivid description, Wang Tian's emotions were on the verge of exploding. He desperately wanted to know who was plotting against him, while the five people across from him wore puzzled expressions.

"This Xiaoxia," the Leading Guard interjected cautiously, "if what you say is true, then you haven't completed the task assigned by your buyer..."
"I'm happy; I’m willing. Even if I haven't completed it, so what? I was merely passing through Moro City today and won't be returning. Besides, if you don't speak of it, who would know that I didn't fulfill the transaction?"
"Right! Xiaoxia is correct; you've completed your task," the Leading Guard quickly agreed upon seeing Mo Wen's knowing expression.
"Alright then, this matter is settled. Take your young master and leave," Mo Wen waved his hand at the Leading Guard, signaling him to take Wang Tian and his group away.
"Wait! You have to tell me who plotted against me!" Wang Tian shouted through gritted teeth.
"Oh? Why should I tell you? You weren't injured or rendered useless; you should count yourself lucky, young master Wang. The valuables you've given are only worth this much," Mo Wen replied with a frown as he looked at Wang Tian.
"How much did they give you? I can double it."
"Where on your body do you have anything valuable left to give me? Should I go back with you to your Wang family to retrieve something? I'm not that foolish."
"No! I still have something; I'll give it all to you if you tell me who plotted against me!" With that, Wang Tian pulled out a thumb-sized object from his pocket and pressed it into Mo Wen's hand.
"Young master! No!" The Leading Guard tried to intervene but was too late; Wang Tian had already handed over the item. Looking at what was in his hand, it resembled the Square Inch World hanging around his neck but was not quite the same—just a high-grade Storage Device for sure.
