Upon hearing Mo Wen's words, the five individuals opposite him felt as if they had heard a divine melody. They immediately ceased their actions, each bearing their own injuries as they looked at the languid young man before them, filled with fear and confusion. The fear stemmed from the boy's strength; they often practiced with their own master, and although it wasn't a life-or-death struggle, they judged that even their master might not be able to subdue this youth today. Their confusion arose from the fact that this boy seemed disinterested in a life-and-death battle, leaving them to wonder why he had lured their young master and his entourage to this desolate place.
Despite stopping, the five remained on high alert. If their young master were harmed, they would have no choice but to act; otherwise, they would face dire consequences upon returning to the Wang family.
"Young Master Wang, hand over your valuables," Mo Wen said as he untied Wang Tian's ropes but still sealed his spiritual energy. The five men exchanged glances, realizing that this youth was after their young master's possessions. However, Wang Tian remained unfazed, seemingly still recovering from the situation.
"What? Young Master Wang, are your ears not working well? If you don't comply, I can just kill you and take it," Mo Wen remarked with displeasure as he tapped Wang Tian's arm with the blade's flat side. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Wang Tian hurriedly handed over his storage pouch, now filled with fear for someone he once thought he could easily crush.
"Xiaoxia has some skills; however..." The leader of the group bowed slightly in acknowledgment.
"Oh? What do you suggest I do?" Mo Wen weighed the storage pouch in his hand. Wang Tian was indeed a young master of the Wang family; he had quite a bit of wealth on him. Wang Tian had already released his control when handing over the pouch.
"I dare not speak out of turn, but if Xiaoxia is short on money, with your strength, you could easily acquire it without going through such trouble to lure us here," the leader pointed out reasonably. With Mo Wen's capabilities, participating in Wu Hui would yield rewards comparable to what Wang Tian possessed.
"Heh, I'm not interested in your Wu Hui. Look, your young master came right to my door. You know I went through quite a bit of trouble; it's only fair I collect a service fee. Wouldn't you agree, Young Master Wang?" Mo Wen turned to Wang Tian, who looked exceptionally pale and was torn between anger and fear, his face flushed red.
"Let it go for you lot; I’m not interested in your meager earnings," Mo Wen said as he glanced at the five men. They were all retainers of the Wang family and earned little throughout the year; after expenses for food and lodging, there wouldn't be much left over. "However, Young Master Wang, this service fee you provided is rather lacking; it falls far short of your status." After putting away Wang Tian's storage pouch, Mo Wen turned back to him.
"You..." Hearing Mo Wen's words and looking at his face made Wang Tian nearly spit blood. What he had given was indeed not his entire fortune; even though he acted arrogantly in Moro City, he wouldn't put all his wealth in one place—that was common sense.
"Come on now, Young Master Wang; I'm doing this for your own good. Just hand it over," Mo Wen said as he moved closer to Wang Tian, placing a hand on his shoulder like a good friend while extending his other hand to indicate that Wang Tian should surrender any hidden valuables.
"Take it! I hope you live long enough to spend it!" Wang Tian gritted his teeth as he pulled out another storage pouch from his robe and slammed it down onto Mo Wen's outstretched hand.
