"Heh, Qin Xiaoya, I don't want to say this a second time. You should accept the one million compensation; otherwise, you might end up with nothing at all," Gu Xiangzhou said, his expression turning cold. Since Qin Xiaoya showed him no respect, he felt no need to show her any either.

Sister Liang's face twitched slightly, feeling that things were not looking good.
"It's fine; if I offended him, then so be it. Do you think I have no connections in the capital?" Sister Liang said, forcing herself to remain calm.
Wu Xiangli responded with an "oh," falling silent, genuinely believing that Sister Liang had some impressive connections among the elite.
Gu Xiangzhou and Qin Xiaoya faced each other coldly, neither willing to back down. This confrontation was not just between them but also represented their families. To yield would imply fear of the other, and maintaining face was more important than anything else for both of them; thus, Gu Xiangzhou was determined not to give in.
"It seems you're really asking for trouble," Qin Xiaoya said with a slight shake of her head as she stepped forward.
"Oh? President Qin, you don't actually plan to make a move, do you?" Gu Xiangzhou laughed as he saw her approach within a meter of him.
Before he could finish speaking, a sharp slap echoed through the noisy venue.
"Smack!"
Gu Xiangzhou truly did not expect Qin Xiaoya to strike him, and she did so with surprising speed and force. His head buzzed from the impact, and he stumbled slightly as if about to fall.
Everyone was stunned—especially Yang Yuxin, Sister Liang, Wu Xiangli, and Wang Tu. They had never anticipated that Qin Xiaoya would resort to violence so quickly.
Wasn't it said that children from wealthy families were always well-mannered? To strike someone in public like this was utterly disgraceful, especially since Qin Xiaoya was the president of the Qin Family Group.
"Gu... Young Master Gu... are you okay?" Wang Tu and the Wavy Haired Girl rushed over with concern.
Gu Xiangzhou shook his head and took thirty seconds to regain his composure.
