"One hundred thousand? Ha! It's actually two hundred million now. You must pay that amount—whether you want to or not," Qin Xiaoya said, her lips curling slightly upward, her expression icy yet exuding undeniable confidence.
"Ha ha, Miss Qin, don't scare me. Can we be a bit more realistic? The Lion's Share isn't as big as your mouth claims. You're exaggerating! I just splashed some wine on those two losers! Why not let them splash wine back on me? Two hundred million? Miss Qin, think about it—is that even possible?" Wang Tu was taken aback for a moment before he laughed.
Gu Xiangzhou chuckled as well; he had personally called Qin Xiaoya about this matter yesterday, but she had hung up on him without a second thought, leaving him quite displeased. Naturally, he didn't take her claim of two hundred million seriously and thought she was being unreasonable.
"President Qin, are you saying if you don't get paid back soon, it will multiply tenfold to twenty billion?" Gu Xiangzhou joked.
"That's quite possible," Qin Xiaoya replied seriously.
"Haha, is your family having cash flow issues lately? You seem desperate for money," Gu Xiangzhou mocked since what Qin Xiaoya said was indeed unrealistic.
Qin Xiaoya snorted lightly. If it were the old her saying such things, it would have seemed far-fetched; but now representing Jiang Chen's interests made it no joke.
"Gu Xiangzhou, this matter has nothing to do with you. I hope you step aside and don’t interfere; otherwise, it won’t end well for you," Qin Xiaoya said coldly.
"Ha ha, it doesn’t concern me directly, but I’m someone who likes to stand up for others. President Qin, do you think just because you have the Qin family backing you, you can bully people at will? Besides, Wang Tu is a member of my racing club; how could I ignore his situation? President Qin, for my sake, let’s settle this with Wang Tu compensating you one million," Gu Xiangzhou said in a bossy tone.
"I won't say it again: Gu Xiangzhou, this matter has nothing to do with you. Step aside," Qin Xiaoya's expression turned icy as she spoke with an air of authority.
