Taiyi Zhenren nodded slightly. "Indeed. However, this fusion is extremely dangerous. A moment's carelessness could lead to the mutual cancellation of both powers, or even harm you."
Nezha and Ao Bing exchanged glances, each seeing determination in the other's eyes.
"We are willing to try," Nezha said firmly.
Taiyi Zhenren nodded in satisfaction. "Good. Then we shall begin special training today."
She led them to a secluded lake outside the city—different from the place where Nezha had trained before, this lake was more tranquil, its surface smooth as a mirror, reflecting the surrounding mountains and forests. In the center of the lake stood two massive stones, about ten meters apart.
"Nezha, stand on the left stone; Ao Bing, take the right," Taiyi Zhenren instructed. "Then, according to the methods I taught you, release your Demon Sphere Power and Dragon Tribe power respectively."
The two took their positions. Nezha took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and felt the Demon Sphere Power within him. Now, this power had become more obedient and harmonious, no longer wild and unruly as it once was.
Nezha slowly guided this power, allowing it to flow out of his body and form a golden energy field around him.
At the same time, Ao Bing was performing a similar process. His Dragon Tribe power radiated a deep blue light, gentle yet resilient like flowing water. The blue energy field formed around him, contrasting sharply with Nezha's golden field.
"Very good," Taiyi Zhenren nodded in approval. "Now, try to expand your energy fields until they touch each other. Remember, do not resist each other's power; instead, try to resonate with it."
Nezha and Ao Bing cautiously expanded their energy fields. As the two fields drew closer together, slight ripples began to appear on the lake's surface, and the surrounding air became subtly distorted.
Just as the two energy fields were about to make contact, both Nezha and Ao Bing felt a powerful repulsion. This was a natural reaction—fire and water, sun and shadow; their fundamental opposition caused the two powers to repel each other.
"Do not resist this repulsion," Taiyi Zhenren's voice echoed over the lake. "Feel it, understand it, then transcend it. Think of your connection—the bond that surpasses Dragon Tribe and Demon Orb."
Nezha opened his eyes and looked at Ao Bing. In that moment of eye contact, he felt a warm current surge within him. All feelings of repulsion and discomfort were washed away by this warmth, replaced by a profound understanding and acceptance.
Ao Bing felt the same way. When he met Nezha's gaze, all barriers seemed to vanish. The distance between them and their opposing powers no longer mattered. What mattered was their choice to stand together, to trust and support one another.
As this awareness deepened, the two energy fields finally made contact and began to merge. The golden and blue lights intertwined, forming a new, brighter glow.
This light was not merely a simple blend of gold and blue but a unique and unprecedented Seven-Colored Radiance, akin to the purest rainbow.
"Well done!" Taiyi Zhenren exclaimed in amazement. "This is true power fusion! Now, try to control this fused power and guide it to accomplish a simple task—like... moving the water of the lake."
Nezha and Ao Bing focused their minds together to guide this newly born power. At first, they found it somewhat challenging because this power was neither Demon Sphere Power nor Dragon Tribe strength but an entirely new form of energy. However, as they gradually adapted, their control became increasingly smooth.
