A few hours later, Nezha and Ao Bing had obtained crucial evidence from the Dragon Palace—the Li Yang Group had been secretly supporting the Ocean Pollution Project for years, aiming to weaken the Dragon Tribe's power. They had also illegally acquired underwater resources and attempted to control global water sources. This evidence was enough to ruin the Li Yang Group's reputation in human society.
The open day event was held in the school's auditorium, filled with parents, students, and media reporters. Representatives from the Li Yang Group were also present, sitting smugly in the front row, looking confident.
After the principal's opening remarks, he invited Nezha and Ao Bing to speak on stage. The two walked up slowly, and murmurs erupted from the audience—some applauded, some whispered, while others looked disdainful.
"Dear teachers, students, parents, and media friends," Ao Bing began politely, "over the past few days, there have been many doubts raised online about me and Nezha, claiming that our efforts to save the Dragon Tribe and humanity are fabricated and that we have ulterior motives."
Nezha took over. "As parties involved, we feel very regretful about this. But today, we are not here to defend ourselves; we are here to unveil the truth."
Ao Bing pressed a button on the remote control, and evidence of the Li Yang Group's misdeeds began to play on the big screen. As each piece of evidence was presented, murmurs grew louder in the audience, and the faces of the Li Yang Group representatives became increasingly grim.
Finally, Nezha stated solemnly, "The Li Yang Group is merely a spokesperson for Lady Shiji in the human world; their goal is to divide the Dragon Tribe and humanity and destroy the hard-won peace between our two worlds. They question us not because we have done anything wrong but because we have thwarted their schemes!"
Gasps erupted from the audience, followed by thunderous applause. The representatives of the Li Yang Group turned pale and hurriedly left the venue while media reporters rushed to take photos—this was undoubtedly big news.
Ao Bing concluded gently yet firmly, "We hope that through this incident, everyone understands—do not blindly believe rumors, do not generalize based on partial truths, and do not label a person based on preconceived notions. Whether it's 'Child of the Demon Sphere' or 'the Dragon Prince,' we are all ordinary people with our own dreams and responsibilities."
Nezha looked at the enthusiastic response from below and suddenly felt a bit shy. He scratched his head and sincerely said, "To be honest, I don't see myself as a hero. Saving the Dragon Tribe and humanity is simply because I care about Ao Bing and my family and friends. I just did what I was supposed to do—that's all."
His heartfelt words sparked even more fervent applause. Students in the audience began chanting Nezha's and Ao Bing's names, while some who had previously doubted them lowered their heads in shame.
