The news from the Dragon Palace spread faster than expected. By the time Nezha and Ao Bing returned to the human realm, three days had already passed. During these three days, Nezha stayed by Ao Bing's side, helping him regain his spiritual strength. At the same time, he explained in detail to the Dragon Elders the essence of the Demon Sphere Power and his awakening as a War God.
Although the Dragon Elders still held a slight wariness towards the "Child of the Demon Sphere," Nezha's heroic deeds in saving the Dragon Palace had significantly changed their perspective. Ao Long Wang, Ao Bing's father, even personally hosted a grand gratitude banquet for Nezha and bestowed upon him the title of "Dragon Guardian," a unique honor in the history of the Dragon Tribe.
At the banquet, Ao Long Wang publicly acknowledged Nezha's relationship with Ao Bing, shocking all present members of the Dragon Tribe, yet no one dared to voice any opposition.
"I never expected Uncle Ao to be so understanding," Nezha said incredulously as they rode back in the luxurious carriage prepared by the Dragon Tribe. "I thought it would take a lot of effort to gain his acceptance."
Ao Bing leaned against Nezha's shoulder and chuckled, "Father has always been open-minded, especially since you saved the entire Dragon Tribe. How could he not be grateful?" After a pause, he added, "However, he did warn me privately that if you dared to bully me, he would make you pay."
Nezha laughed heartily. "Uncle Ao doesn't need to worry; how could I bear to bully you? Besides, if I really upset you, you'd have frozen me into an ice block by now."
Ao Bing shook his head slightly, his eyes filled with amusement. "I wouldn't do that."
The carriage traveled along the coastline, with the sunset casting a warm glow over the calm sea, illuminating Nezha and Ao Bing's profiles and creating a heartwarming scene. The crisis from three days ago seemed far away, but the impact of that battle was far from over.
"How's everything at school?" Ao Bing suddenly asked. "Have you resolved your suspension?"
Nezha scratched his head awkwardly. "I’m not sure... I left in such a hurry that I didn’t have time to contact the school."
Ao Bing frowned. "Then we might have trouble when we go back. Your identity as a 'Demon Orb' has been exposed; the school may not easily allow you to return."
"It’s fine," Nezha said nonchalantly. "Whether I go back or not doesn’t matter; my grades are terrible anyway."
Ao Bing looked at him seriously. "Don’t say that, Nezha. Education is important. Besides, if you want to become a Football Coach, you need at least a college degree."
Nezha looked at Ao Bing in surprise. "You remember my dream?"
"Of course," Ao Bing smiled. "I remember everything about you."
Those words warmed Nezha’s heart. He tightened his grip on Ao Bing's hand and sighed, "I used to think of myself as a 'Problematic Youth' that no one cared about, trapped by the label of 'Demon Orb,' unable to see a future. You made me realize that I don’t have to be defined by labels; I can pursue the life I want."
Ao Bing gently squeezed Nezha's hand. "You’re just as important. Without you, I might have been bound by my identity as 'the Prince' for life, afraid to pursue true freedom and my dreams."
They exchanged smiles, seeing endless trust and understanding in each other's eyes.
Finally, the carriage turned onto a street near the university. In the distance, Nezha and Ao Bing saw a crowd gathered at the school gate, decorated with banners, flowers, and streamers that made it look exceptionally festive.
"What’s going on?" Nezha asked in confusion as he instinctively tightened his grip on Ao Bing's hand.
