Nezha tried to extend his perception and suddenly frowned. "Taiyi Senior, I sense a strange energy fluctuation coming from the east. It feels like fire but not entirely, carrying some... dark aura."
Aunt Taiyi's expression tightened. "The east? That's the abandoned greenhouse area of the campus. Are you sure you sensed dark energy?"
Nezha nodded, choosing not to mention the mysterious text message. He was now more convinced that the evening rendezvous was far from friendly; it could very well be a trap. Yet, at the same time, it might also be an opportunity to gather more information.
After finishing his training, Nezha returned to his dormitory to rest for a while, planning to check the energy fluctuations in that area again after dinner. If he confirmed the presence of hostility, he would notify Aunt Taiyi; if it was just ordinary energy fluctuations, he would cautiously investigate.

"You can come out now, Li Nezha," Ao Lie suddenly spoke, his voice deep and magnetic. "I know you're there. The Dragon Tribe's perception abilities are no less than your Fire Spirit Perception."
Nezha hesitated for a moment before stepping out from the bushes, keeping a wary eye on Ao Lie. "Are you the one who sent the message? What do you want?"
Ao Lie turned around, revealing a face somewhat similar to Ao Bing's but more resolute. His eyes conveyed complex emotions. "The purpose is simple—warn you to stay away from my brother and keep your distance from Dragon Tribe affairs."
Nezha clenched his fists as energy began to flow within him. "Why should I? My relationship with Ao Bing is none of your business."
"Is that so?" Ao Lie scoffed. "Do you have any idea how dangerous it is for Ao Bing because of you? The Elder Council has lost trust in him, believing he has been influenced by the Demon Orb and his judgment compromised. Our father is severely injured and unable to protect him. If it weren't for my covert efforts, Ao Bing would have been placed under house arrest long ago."
Nezha was taken aback. "You... are protecting Ao Bing? But Taiyi Senior said you are his rival and may even be connected with Li Yang Sect..."
Taiyi Zhenren only knows part of it," Ao Lie shook his head. "While I do have different positions from Ao Bing, blood is thicker than water. I won't stand by and watch my brother fall into danger. As for Li Yang Sect..." A flicker of disdain crossed his eyes. "I have no ties with them; on the contrary, I have been secretly investigating their infiltration into the Dragon Palace."
Nezha felt confused, unsure whether to trust Ao Lie's words.
"You don't have to believe me," Ao Lie seemed to see through Nezha's thoughts. "But one thing is certain—your relationship with Ao Bing is putting him under immense political pressure. The conservative faction within the Dragon Tribe has always opposed close ties with humans, let alone forming romantic relationships with Magic Orb Reincarnations."
Nezha tightened his fists. "So what you're saying is that for Ao Bing's sake, I should stay away from him?"
"At least for now, yes," Ao Lie said bluntly. "The power struggles within the Dragon Palace are more complex than you can imagine. Li Yang Sect has already infiltrated and is using this topic to incite distrust against Ao Bing within the Elder Council. I can protect him for a time but not forever."
"Then what is your real purpose in seeking me out tonight?" Nezha asked warily. "Is it just to keep me away from Ao Bing?"
Ao Lie fell silent for a moment before taking out a small Blue Jade Box from his robe. "Take this."
