Nezha scoffed, "Ghosts? What a joke. Who believes in that these days?" 0

Ao Bing remained silent and simply asked, "Have you found the missing item?" 0

Li Ming shook his head. "No, it’s as if it vanished into thin air. The dormitory office and campus security have searched everywhere, but there are no leads." 0

"Have you checked the surveillance footage?" Ao Bing continued to inquire. 0

"We did, but the footage shows no suspicious individuals entering or leaving the dormitory. The item just disappeared without a trace," Li Ming said, growing increasingly agitated. "It's utterly bizarre!" 0

Nezha and Ao Bing exchanged glances, both reading the same thought in each other's eyes—this matter was likely more complicated than it seemed and might be related to the "special abilities" they had discussed. 0

"We should go take a look," Nezha decided, grabbing his jacket. 0

Ao Bing nodded in agreement and followed him out. The three of them made their way to Dormitory 410, passing several students whispering in the hallway, the atmosphere tense and eerie. 0

The door to Zhang Hao's dorm was wide open, and it was already crowded with people helping to search for the missing pocket watch. Nezha and Ao Bing squeezed inside and saw Zhang Hao sitting on the edge of his bed, his hands clasped over his head, looking utterly lost. 0

"Zhang Hao," Nezha approached him and patted his shoulder. "Don't panic. What does the pocket watch look like? When did you notice it was missing?" 0

Zhang Hao looked up, his eyes red-rimmed. "It's an antique pocket watch, silver with a Dragon Pattern on the surface. It was passed down from my grandfather. I saw it on the nightstand before going to bed last night, and when I woke up this morning, it was gone..." 0

"Dragon Pattern?" A flicker of something unusual crossed Ao Bing's eyes before he quickly regained his composure. "When was the last time you confirmed it was still there?" 0

"About eleven o'clock last night," Zhang Hao replied, "I took a glance before washing up." 0

"Were there any other people in the dorm at that time?" Ao Bing continued to ask. 0

Zhang Hao shook his head. "My roommates had all gone home; I was the only one." 0

"Was the door locked?" Nezha interjected. 0

"It was locked; I'm sure it was locked," Zhang Hao said firmly. 0

Nezha and Ao Bing exchanged a glance and nodded in agreement. It was indeed puzzling—a locked room with items mysteriously vanished overnight, and no signs of anyone entering. 0

"Have you searched the room?" Ao Bing looked around and asked. 0

"I've searched several times," Zhang Hao said, frustrated. "I've checked every corner, even lifted the bed boards, but I just can't find anything." 0

Ao Bing thought for a moment and then said, "Let us help look for it." 0

Nezha understood, and the two began to carefully search the dorm, paying attention to details that others might overlook. Ao Bing checked the locks on the doors and windows, while Nezha crouched down to inspect under the bed and in the corners. 0

"Is there anything unusual?" Nezha whispered, ensuring only Ao Bing could hear. 0

Ao Bing shook his head. "The doors and windows are intact; there are no signs of forced entry. But..." he hesitated, "I sense a strange residual energy." 0

"What kind of energy?" Nezha asked, becoming alert. 0

"I can't quite explain it," Ao Bing frowned. "It seems to be some sort of... illusion?" 0

Nezha raised an eyebrow. "Illusion? Are you saying someone is using special abilities to create a hallucination and steal something in the process?" 0

Ao Bing nodded slightly. "That's very likely. I've encountered this feeling before." 0

At that moment, Aunt Taiyi hurried over from the Dormitory Office, squeezing through the crowd to begin calming everyone down. 0

"Children, don't panic," Aunt Taiyi's voice was gentle yet firm. "This has happened a few times before, and we will find the cause. For now, please return to your dorms and don't cause any more chaos here." 0
