Before his words faded, Yun Che suddenly sprang into action, the Dark Silver Star Pattern coalescing into a curved blade that slashed toward the compass. The moment the blade touched Xing Gui, the compass erupted with blinding light—

When they opened their eyes again, the two found themselves in a vast sea of stars, standing on the slowly rotating Observatory Xu Ying. Countless Xing Gui wrapped around them like chains, and Xiao Qingli's bone strings shattered inch by inch. "This is the Divine Consciousness Prison; destroy the Central Star Node!"
Yun Che charged against the Xing Gui toward the central light sphere, each step feeling like treading on a mountain of blades. The Dark Silver Star Pattern spontaneously evolved into the Heavenly Formation Solution, only to realize that the formation was being unraveled in reverse by Xing Gui—the Observatory was actually constructed using Starfall Clan's secret techniques!
"Familiar, isn't it?" The old man's voice echoed across the starry sea. "This was originally prepared as a coffin for your clan."
The chains of Xing Gui pierced through Yun Che's shoulders, suspending him before the light sphere. The old man Xu Ying materialized, his fingertip pointing at Yun Che's brow: "Let me see where the last fortune of the Starfall Clan is hidden..."
In excruciating pain, Yun Che saw memories being forcibly extracted:
— The night his father taught him to recognize the Star Map during his Childhood;
— The howls of Tide Sound Guard Souls from beneath the sea;
— The sorrow hidden deep within Bai Ruoyou's Demon Eye...
"So that's it!" The old man cackled madly. "The Saintess hid the Demon Seed in your..."
His words were abruptly cut off.
Xiao Qingli had somehow broken free from Xing Gui, her bloodied fingers plunging into her own chest to pull out a Star Fragment. "Old fool, see clearly what this is!"
The starlight erupting from the fragment was actually of the same origin as the Observatory, causing the chains of Xing Gui to suddenly halt. Seizing the opportunity, Yun Che broke free, transforming the Dark Silver Star Pattern into a longbow and using Xing Gui as an arrow—
"This arrow is for you!"
The light sphere exploded with a thunderous roar, and the sea of stars collapsed. In reality, Stargazer bled from all seven orifices as the compass shattered into pieces.
Before dying, the old man crushed a Jade Talisman: "The Heavenly Emperor... has seen you all..."
From beneath the rocks emerged an Ancient Stele, its inscription covered in seaweed. Xiao Qingli scraped away the moss with her bone strings, revealing faded characters:
"In the year 472 of Xing Yun, Saintess Bai Ruoyou brought her clan's young child here to escape disaster and carved the Burning Star Technique beneath this stele for those destined to find it."
Yun Che traced over the recessed Stele Inscription as the Dark Silver Star Pattern automatically filled in its missing parts. The ground trembled as the stone tablet rose from its place, revealing an entrance to an Underground Palace below. Amidst a decaying aura, twelve Jiao Ren Deng lit up in succession, illuminating murals of the Starfall Clan Festival on the walls.
Xiao Qingli suddenly pressed her hand against her chest: "Something's not right; these paintings are moving..."
The priest in the mural abruptly turned his head, pointing his Bone Staff at them. Yun Che's Xing Wen surged uncontrollably in response, forming patterns identical to those on the Bone Staff in his palm!
“It is Bloodline Resonance.” He pressed against the mural, “Here lies the legacy left by the Starfall Clan.”
From deep within the Underground Palace, the sound of chains rattling echoed, accompanied by a hoarse, low laugh: “Three hundred years, and finally someone has come to relieve the boredom…”
At the end of the passage stood a bronze cage, within which lay a skeleton draped in a Xing Wen ceremonial robe, with a half-broken stargazing staff embedded in its heart. The skeleton lifted its head, and a flickering blue Soul Fire danced in its eye sockets: “Kid, you carry the scent of White Girl.”
Yun Che’s Xing Wen manifested automatically, and the skeleton suddenly lunged forward, its bony claws piercing through the bars of the cage: “Dig out your heart! I want to see what that traitor has hidden!”
The strings of Xiao Qingli’s instrument ensnared the bony wrist: “Crazy old man, what is your relationship with Bai Ruoyou?”
“What relationship?” The skeleton cackled sharply, “I am her master, High Priest of the Starfall Clan Cangming, Cang Ming!”
