"Your mother..." Director Chen's voice trembled slightly, "She was an excellent Cultural Relic Restorer." 0

"How did she die?" Lin Xueqing stepped closer. 0

"In a car accident," Director Chen replied, "just as it says in the records." 0

"No." The Old Curator suddenly spoke up, "It's time to tell the truth, Director Chen. She has the right to know." 0

Director Chen fell silent for a moment. "It's been twenty years; let's just leave it in the past." 0

"Twenty years..." Lin Xueqing murmured, "That's the year my mother passed away." 0

"It was also when this Comb first appeared," the Old Curator added. 0

The atmosphere in the hall suddenly grew tense. 0

"Your mother was the first to discover the secret of the Comb," the Old Curator looked at Lin Xueqing, "She stumbled upon it while restoring a Qing Dynasty artifact." 0

"And then?" 0

"Then she discovered more. Too much more," the Old Curator sighed. 0

"Enough!" Director Chen interrupted sharply, "Some things should never be brought to light." 0

"Why?" Lin Xueqing questioned, "Is it because these truths threaten certain people?" 0

"It's not a threat," Director Chen's voice was low, "it's a protection." 0

"Protection of what?" 0

"Protection of the current peace," Old Curator interjected. "Your mother discovered not just a historical secret, but an ongoing... crisis." 0

Lin Xueqing felt her heart race. "What do you mean?" 0

"The conspiracy mentioned in Lang Shining's secret letter," Old Curator said, "did not end with the fall of the Zunghar. It has persisted, taking on another form." 0

"And your mother," Director Chen continued, "found traces of this secret organization in modern times." 0

Lin Xueqing felt breathless. "So she..." 0

"She did it to protect you," Old Curator said softly. "After realizing she was being targeted, she chose to..." 0

"No!" Lin Xueqing stepped back. "Are you saying that accident..." 0

"It was her own choice," Director Chen stated. "To cut off all leads and make those people believe the secret had died with her." 0

Lin Xueqing felt her legs weaken, and Shen Mo Ting quickly supported her. 0

"But before she left," Old Curator continued, "she entrusted the Comb and clues to me, asking me to wait for the right moment..." 0

"Tell me the truth?" Lin Xueqing's voice trembled. 0

"No," the Old Curator shook his head. "You must wait until you have the ability to protect yourself." 0

Silence fell once more in the hall. The light from the oil lamp seemed to dim. 0

"Now you all know," Director Chen surveyed the crowd, "how dangerous this secret is. What will your choice be?" 0

"I choose to continue," Lin Xueqing raised her head, tears glistening in her eyes, "for my Mother." 0

"So do I," the Old Curator said, "for the truth of history." 0

Shen Mo Ting tightened his grip on Lin Xueqing's hand. "I will protect her." 0

Director Chen sighed deeply. "Very well." He turned and walked toward the door, pausing at the entrance. "But remember, from this moment on, you have embarked on a path of no return." 0

The sound of the door closing echoed through the hall. Lin Xueqing looked at the bundle in her arms, knowing this was just the beginning. 0

The truth about her Mother, the secrets of history, and that mysterious organization... everything was hidden within this small bundle. 0

And she finally understood why some doors are truly invisible. 0
