Nezha keenly noticed this but decided not to press further. Everyone has their own pace, and how much Ao Bing was willing to share was entirely up to him. Just as Ao Bing respected his secrets, he would respect Ao Bing's reservations. 0

"By the way," Nezha suddenly remembered something, "now that we know each other's abilities, how about a little contest? Let's see who has better control!" 0

Ao Bing raised an eyebrow. "In the dormitory?" 0

"Of course not," Nezha laughed. "Once the rain stops, we can find a quiet place, like that abandoned little lake. No one goes there." 0

Ao Bing thought for a moment and then nodded. "Alright, but we must ensure it's safe and that no one finds out." 0

"Deal!" Nezha exclaimed excitedly, extending his hand. "A high-five to seal the promise!" 0

Ao Bing hesitated for a moment before reaching out and gently slapping Nezha's palm. At the moment their hands met, Nezha felt an unusual sensation, as if a current had passed through them—not from his own ability, but from some wondrous resonance of energy. 0

"Did you feel that?" Nezha asked in surprise. 0

Ao Bing nodded, his eyes sparkling with the same astonishment. "A kind of... resonance." 0

"What does that mean?" Nezha asked, puzzled. 0

Ao Bing looked deeply at Nezha, as if making some kind of decision. "I'm not sure, but I think it might mean our abilities are somehow connected, or rather, our fates have intertwined in an invisible way." 0

Nezha felt a surge of inexplicable excitement and nervousness. "That sounds mysterious and really cool!" 0

Ao Bing remained silent, gazing quietly out at the rain. The downpour had lessened, and a corner of the sky revealed the moonlight. 0

"The rain is about to stop," Ao Bing said, his voice carrying an emotion that Nezha couldn't quite understand. "Tomorrow will be a sunny day." 0

"Then shall we meet by the small lake tomorrow afternoon?" Nezha suggested. 0

Ao Bing nodded. "Alright, tomorrow afternoon." 0

This simple agreement seemed to them, at that moment, just an attempt at connection between two young individuals with special abilities. Yet, they were unaware that this promise would unveil more secrets and lead them down a path far more complex than they could imagine. 0

As night deepened, the two returned to their beds to rest. Lying there, Nezha stared at the ceiling, replaying everything that had happened that day in his mind. He had never thought he would share his greatest secret with anyone, let alone discover that the other person had similar experiences and abilities. 0

"Ao Bing," Nezha suddenly spoke up, his voice cutting through the darkness with unusual clarity. "Thank you for accepting my secret." 0

After a brief silence, Ao Bing's voice came back, gentle yet firm. "Thank you for trusting me." 0

Those simple words conveyed deep understanding and gratitude. Nezha felt something within him stir—a sense of unprecedented safety and belonging washed over him. On this night, he was no longer a lonely outcast but had found someone who truly understood him. 0

"Good night, Ao Bing," Nezha whispered, a smile unconsciously spreading across his face. 0

"Good night, Nezha," Ao Bing replied, his voice imbued with the same warmth. 0

As the night grew darker and the sound of rain faded away, the two young men drifted slowly into slumber, each carrying their secrets and newfound connection. In their dreams, a fiery red dragon and a water-blue dragon intertwined and spiraled together, as if destined to meet—like the beginning of fate itself. 0

Ao Bing lay in bed, unable to fall asleep for a long time. He glanced at Nezha, who was peacefully asleep, and his heart was filled with complex emotions. What he hadn’t told Nezha was that he already knew the true identity of the red-haired boy—the Child of the Demon Sphere, a being said to possess the power of destruction. As the heir of the Dragon Tribe, he was destined by ancient prophecy to be an enemy of the Demon Orb. 0

"Fate, where do you truly want to lead us?" Ao Bing sighed inwardly, his gaze filled with confusion and unease. 0

Yet at this moment, looking at Nezha's serene face, Ao Bing couldn't help but feel a warmth within him. Perhaps, as Nezha had said, water and fire could coexist, even complement each other. Maybe they could break the ancient prophecy and write their own destiny. 0

With this hope in mind, Ao Bing finally closed his eyes and drifted into a dream. 0
