"That kid? He seems ordinary to me. How could he possibly be your master? You won't learn anything from him. If you agree to join us at Shen Xue Men, I can make an exception and let that kid join us as well," Wu Shiding said earnestly.
Hearing Wu Shiding's words, Lin Yin's expression turned playful, as if he had just heard the biggest joke of the year. "Elder Wu, do you know the difference between you and my master?" Lin Yin asked with amusement.
"That kid can't possibly compare to Elder Wu; it's like comparing heaven and earth—there's no way to even mention them in the same breath," Chen Jie Li interjected coldly.
Even though Lin Yin was also Transcendence, Chen Jie Li didn't think he could be compared to himself; there were distinctions even among Transcendence.
"Heh, I'm curious to know what kind of person your master is to have such a talented disciple like you," Wu Shiding said with a faint smile, appearing all ears.

With those words, the atmosphere became tense once again. Everyone looked nervously at Wu Shiding; Lin Yin's comment was incredibly humiliating, equating a dignified elder of Hidden Sect to an ant on the ground.
As expected, Wu Shiding's expression darkened once more. He had indeed been impressed by Lin Yin, but everyone's patience had its limits.
