The midterm exams were nearing their end, with most students left with just one or two subjects to go. In the morning, during the third and fourth periods, Zhang Hui's class was taking the Civil Law exam. The class president, Guo Liang, sat at the back of the classroom, filling in answers with ease. He had prepared thoroughly for this subject, and once the Civil Law exam was over, the General Psychology exam in the afternoon would just be a matter of earning some credits. He was already planning to ask the beautiful Xiao Yang out for a movie that evening, feeling quite pleased with himself.
His good mood lasted until he caught sight of another beauty, Sun Ling's thigh. Sun Ling sat in the row next to him, and Guo Liang noticed her quietly pulling up her short pleated skirt. The hem slid over her smooth thigh; Sun Ling was tall and leggy, with clear lines that made Guo Liang's heart race as he could already see most of her beautiful leg. Yet, she continued to pull it higher. Guo Liang couldn't help but be captivated by her, and soon enough, Sun Ling had nearly lifted her entire skirt. It turned out she was writing small notes at the top of her thigh. Although Guo Liang couldn't make out what she was writing, he had a clear view of her flawless legs and the light reddish-brown underwear she wore.
While Sun Ling was busy copying notes, Guo Liang continued to write his answers while sneaking glances at her. He had seen Sun Ling's legs before—she showed more skin in her swimsuit—but he hadn't expected to see her fit and graceful lower body in such a situation, which inevitably led to a typical male reaction.
Suddenly, Sun Ling turned her head and caught Guo Liang staring at her. She shot him a glare before pulling her skirt back down. However, when she noticed how smoothly he was writing his answers, she gestured for him to show her. Guo Liang glanced nervously at the proctor from afar and shook his head. Sun Ling playfully pinched the hem of her skirt, leaning in closer with a flirtatious look that made Guo Liang swallow hard. Seizing the opportunity, Sun Ling reached over and snatched his answer sheet away. Guo Liang didn't dare to stop her but felt his heart racing at the thought of what would happen if the proctor came over.
Sun Ling didn’t just take a look at his paper; she lifted her skirt all the way up to the top of her thigh while holding his answer sheet. Guo Liang couldn’t help but admire her smooth legs and underwear again. He felt both amused and exasperated—thankfully, the proctor hadn’t approached their side yet. Once Sun Ling was satisfied with copying down what she needed, she found another chance to return his paper while deliberately lifting her skirt even higher for him to see more before carefully placing it back down and blowing him a kiss just as the bell rang for class dismissal. Students began to rise and submit their papers, and amidst the chaos, Sun Ling slipped away.
Guo Liang still had several questions left unanswered on his exam paper; with Sun Ling's antics disrupting him like that, his score would surely suffer, leaving him feeling quite frustrated. As he walked out of the classroom, he ran into Zhang Hui and decided to have lunch with her. By the time they finished eating, he felt somewhat better.
Guo Liang asked Zhang Hui what she planned to do in the afternoon. She replied that she had plans with her boyfriend Liu Ming to go to the library. With no other options available, Guo Liang headed back alone to his rented room.
Just as he climbed up to the third floor, he encountered Sun Ling coming down from above. She rushed over and said, "Hey! Perfect timing! I was just looking for you!"
Still irritated about not finishing his exam paper, Guo Liang couldn’t help but feel annoyed when Sun Ling playfully clung to his arm and teased him innocently, "Why so glum... why so glum..."
Guo Liang found himself unable to retort as he took out his keys to open his room door while asking, "What do you need me for?"
"I want to borrow your notes for General Psychology; you’ve finished studying them already, right?" Sun Ling said as she followed him into his room.
"I have finished studying them but... I still want to review a bit," Guo Liang replied.
