When the Overseas Intelligence Network confirmed that the Enemy Leader, who had committed numerous atrocities within China, had fled to Southeast Asia, the entire intelligence department was shaken. A thrilling cross-border manhunt was about to unfold.

He reorganized clues and established closer contact with local informants from the Overseas Intelligence Network in an attempt to find breakthroughs from overlooked details. Finally, a crucial lead surfaced: someone had seen a person matching the Enemy Leader's description in a small town near the border. This town was located on the edge of a Tropical Rainforest; its remote geographical location made it difficult to access and surrounded by complex environments—a perfect hiding place.
The Fugitive Pursuit Team hurried towards the small town without delay. Along the way, they encountered various unexpected situations. The rugged terrain was muddy; their vehicles got stuck multiple times, forcing them to get out and push forward on foot, further delaying their already tense journey. Once they entered the rainforest, conditions worsened. The stifling humidity made it hard for team members to breathe; mosquitoes swarmed around them, incessantly biting their skin, causing many team members to develop red, itchy rashes. Moreover, the complex terrain of the rainforest was riddled with ravines; a moment's inattention could lead them astray. Even more dangerously, various venomous snakes and fierce beasts lurked here, ready to attack at any moment.
During one trek through the jungle, a team member accidentally stepped on a hidden snake in the underbrush; it struck instantly, biting his leg. In this critical situation, Lin Feng quickly halted the team and utilized his extensive outdoor survival knowledge to administer first aid to the injured member. He tightly tied off above the wound with a rope to prevent venom from spreading before carefully making an incision with his knife to extract as much venom as possible; finally, he applied herbal medicine he carried with him. After intense treatment efforts, the injured member's condition stabilized temporarily but significantly affected his mobility. To avoid hindering the entire cross-border manhunt operation, this team member insisted on staying behind to wait for support while Lin Feng led the remaining members onward; their eyes reflected a steadfast determination not to miss any opportunity to capture the Enemy Leader.
