At the banquet, there were more relatives on Yun Li's side, and everyone was enthusiastically urging Jiang Shiyu to drink. On this special day, Jiang Shiyu didn't refuse and accepted every drink offered to him.
Yun Li was worried and tried to stop him from drinking, but Jiang Shiyu simply squeezed her fingertips gently as a gesture of reassurance. Deng Ying pulled Yun Li aside to whisper; now that she had grown up, she had her own youthful thoughts and began talking about the person she liked. As someone who had been through it, Yun Li advised her to express her feelings early on; even if she faced rejection, it was okay.
Seeing that Jiang Shiyu was still drinking, Yun Li decided to head back to the hotel for some rest, as their room was just above the hall. Once inside, she sat down and rubbed her feet, but soon there was a knock at the door—it was the delivery person bringing their meal.
Yun Li opened the door, and the waiter wheeled in a cart filled with food and set it on the table. She had been hungry for a long time, and now seeing all these delicious dishes made it hard for her to stop eating. They were all her favorites, and only Jiang Shiyu could arrange for Chinese food in Bali.
Half an hour later, after finishing her meal, Yun Li opened her phone to check the message Jiang Shiyu had sent earlier: "Have you eaten enough?"
She replied, "Yes, I'm full. Don't drink too much; that's enough." There was no response from him after that. Feeling quite bored, she sat on the edge of the bed. After a while, she heard noise and knocking coming from outside the door.
When she opened it, she saw Qin Nianzhe and Cheng Zhou each holding one of Jiang Shiyu's arms; he was hanging his head low, looking as if he had lost all his strength from drunkenness.
Qin Nianzhe said apologetically, "Sorry, Yun Li. It seems like our plans for tonight might be ruined; this guy is completely wasted." The others stifled their laughter as Yun Li frowned slightly. "Did you all make him drink?"
Zhang Mingyu replied, "Just a little bit; he wanted to drink himself."
Yun Li didn't say anything more as she took Jiang Shiyu from them and closed the door behind her. The group outside quickly dispersed.
It was a struggle for Yun Li to guide him to bed, but just then, a large hand tightened around her waist. She looked back at him; his eyes were clear now, and a faint smile played on his lips. Realization dawned on Yun Li—he was pretending!
Jiang Shiyu looked at her, the woman clad in a red drinking dress, the strapless design revealing a large expanse of her fair skin. He bent down and lifted her, placing her on the table.
How could he return without pretending to be drunk? "Have you eaten? I'll have someone bring up some food," he said, just as Yun Li was about to get down, but he held her back.
Jiang Shiyu buried his face in the crook of her neck, kissing her softly and repeatedly. Yun Li knew what he was up to; her fingertips curled involuntarily. "You should eat something! I'm afraid you won't have the strength later."
His words made Jiang Shiyu pause, lifting his head to look at her. Realizing she had misspoken, Yun Li quickly explained, "No, that's not what I meant! I meant—"
In the next moment, she found herself being tossed onto the bed by Jiang Shiyu. The bed was springy, and Yun Li bounced twice before she could react, only to be pinned down by his heavy body.
Jiang Shiyu grabbed her hand and placed it on his bowtie. "Help me."
Yun Li fumbled with it awkwardly, taking longer than expected. Jiang Shiyu wasn't in a hurry; his hand slipped under her skirt. The tingling sensation made it even harder for Yun Li to concentrate as her face flushed red. "Don't move around."
He drawled lazily, "I'm not moving; I'm just waiting for you to untie it."
After a minute of struggling with the bowtie, he seemed to drift away for that same minute, leaving Yun Li feeling completely limp as if her bones had vanished.
The large bed was strewn with rose petals, and the contrast of the woman's fair skin against them made her look like smooth milk. The man's powerful physique contrasted sharply with the delicate woman.
Yun Li squinted at him as Jiang Shiyu pressed his lips together and leaned down to kiss her. At that moment of breaking free from constraints, Yun Li tilted her head back and held him tightly; without shackles, Jiang Shiyu's eyes sparkled with desire as his kisses landed softly.
His low voice sounded incredibly seductive: "Baby, we are completely one now."
Those words made Yun Li's toes curl; the sensation was extraordinary. After so many times, she wasn't as shy anymore and began to enjoy it fully; her sultry voice started to turn hoarse.
Jiang Shiyu nibbled on her ear and asked, "Am I strong enough?"
He teased, "Call me Old."
Yun Li felt quite unaccustomed to using that title for the first time. She gritted her teeth and, feeling extremely shy, said, "Old."
He smiled, his voice low and husky, laced with heavy desire. "Good Baby."
