Yun Li arrived at the airport where Shu Ran was waiting for her.
In the car, Shu Ran kept glancing at a photo of Fu Jing, making a series of impressed sounds. "This man is definitely worth it," she concluded.
Yun Li, driving and overhearing her comments, couldn't help but smile wryly. "He's quite serious, not what you think."
"Trust me, with my experience in judging men, he’s definitely a catch," Shu Ran insisted.
Yun Li shifted her gaze back to the navigation system and then to the road ahead. "Aren't you only interested in Cheng Zhou?"
"I've only tasted him, but my judgment is never wrong," Shu Ran replied confidently.
After arriving at the hotel where Shu Ran was staying, Yun Li booked a separate room for herself and began to rest after dropping off her luggage. She was exhausted from her adventures in Tibet.
After a good night's sleep, she felt revitalized. The weather in Haicheng was warm, so Yun Li put on a short skirt and a thin sheer blouse before heading to the beach to soak up some sun. She lounged casually on a chair while wearing sunglasses.
Shu Ran was lying on a nearby beach chair and pointed towards a man in the distance. "Look at that one! I've had my eye on him for days."
He was twenty-eight years old, athletic, with a well-built physique.
Yun Li followed her gaze; the man was only wearing beach shorts, showcasing his toned upper body and healthy tan. He looked decent but too delicate for her taste. "Weren't you just telling me to go after Fu Jing?"
Shu Ran smirked and raised an eyebrow at her. "A man can’t just choose one option; having multiple choices helps pick out the best one."
Suddenly, Yun Li fell silent and stood up to leave.
Shu Ran watched her retreating figure excitedly. "Come on, sister! I see you’re considering options now!"
"Multiple choices to find the best one? I never knew you had such thoughts!" she teased.
Just then, Shu Ran's smile froze as she raised her hand mid-air. Turning around, she found Cheng Zhou standing beside her, arms crossed and looking down at her with an amused expression.
She smiled sweetly and stood up to wrap her arms around his neck, trying to play it cool. "Oh! What are you doing here? Aren't you busy? You even thought of surprising me—you're so sweet!"
Cheng Zhou expressionlessly released her hands, his gaze falling on her swimsuit, a yellow bikini adorned with a bow in the center. Shu Ran belonged to the very slim category, and at that moment, the little fabric barely covered her modesty, revealing deep curves and soft, white flesh with a generous layer of fat.
Cheng father Zhou rrowed his brows deeper and draped his shirt over her shoulders. "If you don't come back soon, you'll have to run naked on the beach."
His shirt was large enough to cover her perky backside, while her long, slender legs swayed in the sunlight. She lay on the beach chair, swinging her legs in a way that made Cheng Zhou's head ache. "You should change back into your clothes."
Shu Ran turned to look at him. "Why? I'm wearing your shirt, aren't I? And with this blazing sun, are you sure you want me to wear long pants? I'd melt!"
Yun Li returned with coconut juice, cradling three in her arms. Shu Ran took one and offered it to him. "Here, drink some to cool off."
Cheng Zhou pushed her hand away, eyeing the straw in her mouth. "I want yours."
Aren't they all the same? Shu Ran said as she still ended up giving him hers.
Yun Li couldn't stand their antics any longer and got up to play in the water. The sea was cool; she didn't go far as the waves gently washed over her toes. Yun Li crouched down to scoop up some seawater, examining it closely.
In the evening, they sat at the Beach Bar sipping drinks and listening to music. It was a cozy place with dim lighting, where a singer performed cheerful tunes on stage. Yun Li wore a spaghetti strap dress with a light shawl draped over her shoulders as she sat at the bar sipping a Special Cocktail.
The man from The Man of Sports she had seen during the day approached them.
