Yun Li was packing her things when the little girl approached her with excitement. "Teacher, can I come play with you?"
Yun Li smiled gently, "Sure!"
The little girl eagerly grabbed her phone and opened Yun Li's WeChat. She couldn't wait to check out Yun Li's Moments. "Teacher, why don’t you post anything?"
The most recent post was from several months ago, featuring a bouquet of flowers. It was from Jiang Shiyu, who had given her flowers for the first time, and she had happily taken a photo to share.
"I don’t post much," Yun Li replied.
"Does your boyfriend not post either?" the little girl asked.
Yun Li paused, recalling that it seemed Jiang Shiyu had never posted anything about her. She nodded, "Yeah, neither of us really likes to post."
The little girl was astonished. "What? He can't be a player, right? You're so beautiful; he should at least announce it so his friends know about you!"
"My classmate said that guys who keep fish like this never post about you. If they do, it means they're about to explode," she added dramatically.
Yun Li didn’t think much of it since she hadn’t posted anything either.
The little girl insisted on walking Yun Li outside. As they stepped out, they spotted Jiang Shiyu waiting for them. It was the first time the little girl had seen Yun Li's boyfriend, and her eyes lit up instantly, though they quickly shifted to a scrutinizing gaze.
She tugged at Yun Li, leaning in to whisper in her ear, "Teacher, your boyfriend looks like a total player; you need to be careful!"
Yun Li couldn’t help but laugh at that. "Don’t worry! He’s not like that."
The little girl was quite certain of her assessment. Based on her two years of experience identifying players in her class, this incredibly handsome guy in front of her had all the signs of being one.
She had seen on TV that rich and handsome guys were often players. For instance, Hong Xian was a typical example of a wealthy playboy—charming and flirtatious. The guy before her was even more handsome than Hong Xian and had an aura that screamed extravagance.
Noticing the unkind gaze from the Little Girl, Jiang Shiyu's dark pupils locked onto her, the oppressive aura hitting her like a gust of wind. He furrowed his brow, intensifying the powerful presence that made the Little Girl too frightened to look at him again.
In the car, Yun Li relaxed against the seat, a gentle smile playing on his lips as he gazed out at the scenery.
Jiang Shiyu's eyes flicked over to him. What had that little brat said about him?
Yun Li was surprised he had noticed. "How did you know?"
Jiang Shiyu wore an expression that said, "Of course I knew," a slight curve appearing at the corner of his mouth as he held the tray with one hand and gently prodded his cheek with his other hand.
There was an air of mischief and wildness about him.
The way that child looked at me clearly screamed that I was no good. It was hard not to notice.
“She said you have a flirtatious face and that I should be careful of you,” Yun Li remarked.
Upon hearing this, Jiang Shiyu let out an unhappy hum. "Is it my fault for being handsome?"
Fine! Let’s just pretend she was complimenting my looks.
Yun Li replied, “Your arrogance and narcissism are getting worse.”
