Everyone gathered for a group photo, creating a keepsake for this performance. After the picture was taken and the teacher finished giving safety instructions, Yun Li wanted to find Jiang Shiyu.
Turning around, she found the person she had been thinking about right in front of her. Jiang Shiyu had come to the backstage, holding a bouquet of pink roses. He wore a casual shirt and clean, bright jeans that gave him an air of youthful exuberance, with a carefree spirit reflected in his brow.
Yun Li jogged over, her eyes sparkling like stars. "How did you get here? You didn't even tell me!"
He handed her the flowers, and Yun Li happily accepted them. Jiang Shiyu smiled and reached out to touch the decorative flower in her hair, saying, "Then it wouldn’t be a surprise."
Shu Ran and Cheng Zhou also arrived backstage. After exchanging a few words with their supervising teacher, Yun Li joined them.
She had informed her family in advance and assured them that she had friends in America who would look after her safety.
Yun Li changed her clothes at the hotel, removed her makeup, and washed her hair. Shu Ran stood at the bathroom door, munching on a lollipop with her arms crossed. "Hao Hao, this is a great opportunity."
Yun Li was bent over washing her hair when some water splashed into her eyes. Squinting, she asked, "What great opportunity?"
Shu Ran's expression shifted from serious to gleeful as she exclaimed, "Cheng Zhou and Jiang Shiyu are out! We can have some fun!" She struck a pose with her hands on her hips and laughed heartily.
At first, Yun Li thought "having fun" meant exploring all the exciting spots around. She didn’t realize it meant inviting male models.
Shu Ran dragged Yun Li to the hotel she had booked and helped her change into an outfit she had brought from home.
"Jiang Shiyu would definitely be mad if he knew I invited male models," Yun Li said.
As Shu Ran rummaged through the clothes, she replied, "We're just having drinks; it’s not like we’re doing anything wrong. Isn’t it normal to sit next to two handsome guys?"
Besides, Shu Ran pointed out, "Jiang Shiyu has always been surrounded by beautiful girls when he goes out; why can’t you have some fun too?"
But Yun Li still felt uneasy.
Shu Ran pulled out a dress from her bag. "Look! I specifically picked this strapless bodycon dress for you. The sides and back have a butterfly cutout design!"
Yun Li looked at the thin black fabric in Shu Ran's hands with a face full of reluctance. "It’s too revealing! How can I wear that?"
Shu Ran reached out to tug at Yun Li's shirt and jeans playfully. "Oh come on! It’s not that revealing! I have even more daring outfits!"
Yun Li was forced into a dress, and she looked at her reflection in the mirror with a flushed face, feeling somewhat awkward. She wore a pair of eight-centimeter high heels that accentuated her delicate, fair skin and long, straight legs. The dress was short, barely covering her hips, and she nervously tugged at the hem in an attempt to lengthen it a bit.
"Please spare me! It's too short, too revealing," she muttered.
Her waist was slender and soft, with cutouts on the sides exposing her smooth skin. Her arms were long and toned, displaying a graceful yet resilient line rather than any hint of flabbiness. Below her collarbone, a large expanse of skin was visible, thanks to the round neckline that left little to the imagination.
Her neck was long and elegant, devoid of any wrinkles.
Shu Ran admired her handiwork as she pulled Yun Li in front of the makeup mirror. Turning around, she could see the expanse of skin revealed behind her; only a few butterfly-shaped cutouts at the waist offered minimal coverage. Yun Li struggled to adjust to the high heels and nearly stumbled.
Shu Ran styled her hair into large waves and applied makeup. It was a light look at first, but she deepened the eyeliner and eyeshadow significantly, transforming Yun Li's innocent almond-shaped eyes into something sultry and captivating. A light pink lipstick adorned her lips, making them appear strikingly beautiful—gentle yet exuding an alluring confidence.
"Are you sure you want to go out like this?" Yun Li asked, forcing a smile.
"Absolutely! You look stunning! Why not take advantage of it while those two busybodies are out?" Shu Ran replied confidently. "Don't waste your good genes; you need to learn how to use them wisely. Otherwise, you'll regret it."
"And what if Jiang Shiyu sees you like this? Can he even handle it?" Shu Ran continued teasingly. "If he can tolerate this without issue, then there's something wrong. You really need to think about this; it concerns your happiness for life."
Yun Li felt embarrassed by her words and covered Shu Ran's chattering mouth with her hand.
Once they were ready, they took a taxi to one of San Francisco's famous clubs. Inside were all sorts of male models and female escorts; anything one could desire was available. However, entry wasn't granted to just anyone. Only those who had spent over ten thousand could gain access.
Thus, the place was not only exclusive but also boasted high quality, with an atmosphere that reeked of opulence and indulgence.
