It was May fifteenth, and Jiang Shiyu had chosen to stay in the capital instead of returning to Jiangzhou for Labor Day on the first. Yun Li, pressed by her father, was supposed to leave on the thirtieth but only managed to catch the high-speed rail back in the afternoon of the first. 0

Outside the high-speed rail station, Yun Li held Jiang Shiyu's hand tightly. "Are you really not going back to Jiangzhou?" she asked. 0

Jiang Shiyu shook his head. "No, you go ahead!" 0

"I'll come pick you up when you return on the fourth," she replied, merely nodding, though reluctant to part ways. 0

Watching Yun Li disappear into the crowd, he turned and headed back to his car. After closing the door, he took out a cigarette and lit it. Ever since he started dating Yun Li, he had been smoking less. 0

Once he finished the cigarette, Jiang Shiyu drove to Jiang Hao's private residence. The door was opened by Yu Lian, who greeted him with a bright smile and a warm demeanor. Jiang Shiyu casually slipped past her and entered. 0

Yu Lian opened her mouth to speak but found herself at a loss for words and could only follow him inside. 0

Jiang Hao was seated on the sofa, sipping tea, with a Golden Toad Tea Pet resting on the tea tray in front of him. Jiang Shiyu stood opposite him and sat down, propping one foot on the table close to the tea pet. His expression was stern as he asked coldly, "You called me here just to drink tea?" 0

Jiang Hao glanced at his foot with a hint of annoyance before responding slowly and patiently, "Your grandfather wants you to go to England. I suggest you go to America instead; Stanford is just as good as Cambridge. Besides, Cheng Zhou from the Cheng family is also at Stanford. You two know each other, so you'll have company." 0

Jiang Shiyu's eyes darkened with anger. "Who gave you the right to make decisions for me?" 0

Jiang Hao remained calm and did not lose his temper; he looked at him steadily. "I already discussed this with you long ago. It should have happened sooner; it's been delayed until now." 0

Jiang Shiyu stood up, exuding an imposing aura as he lowered his gaze defiantly at him. "What if I refuse to go? Are you going to have someone drag me there?" 0

Jiang Hao slammed his teacup down heavily on the table, producing a sharp sound. "If you dare step out that door, don’t blame me for actually having someone tie you up." 0

Jiang Shiyu pressed his tongue against his cheek defiantly, puffing it out in a bold and arrogant manner before sneering and kicking open the door. As soon as he did, several tall men in black emerged from around the courtyard, all of them imposing figures. 0

Jiang Shiyu opened the courtyard gate without even blinking, stepping out with a leisurely gait. As soon as he emerged, a group of people rushed towards him, intent on dragging him back. Suddenly, another team appeared, forming a solid wall of flesh to protect him. 0

Without even glancing back, Jiang Shiyu left unobstructed as the two groups clashed. Jiang Hao found himself at a disadvantage; the opponents were quick, precise, and ruthless—clearly seasoned fighters. Witnessing this scene, Jiang Hao clenched his fists in anger. 0

The car sped away, quickly disappearing from sight. Once the commotion was resolved, the leader stepped forward and addressed Jiang Hao, saying, "President Jiang, the master has instructed that you should not trouble the young master again. Otherwise, don’t expect to sit in the chairman's position of the Jiang family." 0

With that, they left behind a scene of chaos on the ground. Jiang Hao’s face darkened as he surveyed the useless bodies scattered around. 0

The Cullinan sped along the elevated highway when his grandfather called. "Are you alright, A Yu?" 0

"I'm fine, Grandpa. Sorry for troubling you again." 0

"Troubling me? This is what I should do as your grandfather." 0

"You could have stayed out of it; I would have handled it myself." 0

Jiang Shiyu kept his gaze fixed ahead, the faint sound of wind whispering past his ears. One hand gripped the steering wheel while a smirk played at the corners of his mouth: leaving unscathed in front of him would surely infuriate him even more. 0

Hearing this, his grandfather burst into laughter. "You rascal! You’re really enjoying this!" 0

"Come home tonight! I’ll make you some soup; I’ve learned quite a bit recently." 0

"No thanks, I still have things to take care of. Ms. Shi will be looking for me soon." 0

"Alright then, just know that I’ll always be here to protect you. Don’t worry; go ahead and fight!" 0
