Xu Jiaxing patted him on the shoulder and said, "If it weren't for Yun Li Yan's training, we wouldn't even get to join Brother Yu for dinner. Hao Hao, cherish this moment!"
My sister also mentioned that she wanted to make a name for herself. Qin Nianzhe had already let go of his worries and moved closer to Jiang Shiyu. "Brother Yu rarely has dinner with us; how about you treat us?"
Jiang Shiyu lifted his tray and walked forward, tossing his meal card to him.
Qin Nianzhe happened to be out of money for dinner, so the meal card came just in time. He ordered several meat dishes and swiped the card while Xu Jiaxing and Zhang Mingyu scrambled to get their hands on it.
After swiping, Qin Nianzhe snatched the card back and put it in his bag. He ran over to Jiang Shiyu and said, "Brother Yu, I'll keep this safe for you. From now on, I’ll be your exclusive meal card steward."
Xu Jiaxing and Zhang Mingyu sighed, "Look at you, making such progress."
After the training session ended, Peng Qingyu and Yu Meng headed to Jing Wu just for a taste of Spicy Hot Pot. Jiang Shiyu and a few others joined them.
At the No. 3 cafeteria, they occupied a long table with each person having a bowl of Spicy Hot Pot in front of them.
Qin Nianchu noticed that Chen Jin Xiu hadn’t come and asked Yun Li, "Where's Jin Xiu?"
Yun Li smiled gently, "Senior Shen took her out."
Qin Nianchu's eyes lit up upon hearing this. "They wouldn’t..."
Yun Li nodded, "I heard Senior Shen say that Jin Xiu's attitude towards him has softened recently."
It seemed that soon I would be the only one in our dorm still single. Qin Nianchu sulked as he poked at the bottom of his bowl with his chopsticks.
Yu Meng spoke up to comfort him, "It's okay; we still have so many single dogs here with us!"
Peng Qingyu slowly smiled, "Yeah! Being single isn’t so bad."
Qin Nianchu felt somewhat comforted.
"You guys are right; Jing Wu Cafeteria is really delicious. This Spicy Hot Pot has flavors you can't find outside." Yu Meng said while eating.
It was already past twelve, yet there was still a line at the Spicy Hot Pot window. It was easy to see how popular it was.
After finishing their meal, Yu Meng and Peng Qingyu were set to follow the large group back to Jiangzhou. With a rare half-day of free time, Jiang Shiyu took Yun Li to visit the museum at Jinghua Hangda.
Yun Li exclaimed in surprise from the car, "A museum? Your school actually has a museum? That's amazing!"
Jiang Shiyu raised an eyebrow while holding the steering wheel with one hand. She had forgotten to take her on a tour before, but today was just right.
The two headed straight for the museum upon arrival. The scenery along the way was quite pleasant, with airplane models visible everywhere, creating a grand and spectacular atmosphere.
At the museum entrance, Yun Li asked Jiang Shiyu to take a photo of her. Jiang Shiyu didn’t quite understand what was so special about it but didn’t say anything. She picked up her phone and took the picture earnestly.
After taking photos outside, they moved inside for more. Yun Li didn’t take many pictures before snapping one inside.
After exploring the museum, they decided to head to the library. On their way, they encountered Fang Yang and Zheng Yating, who seemed to be arguing. Zheng Yating walked ahead with her arms crossed while Fang Yang followed behind, looking impatient.
Yun Li planned to walk past them directly, but when Zheng Yating spotted them, she turned around and playfully hooked her arm around Fang Yang’s, greeting them with a smile.
"Hey, Yun Li! Long time no see." She addressed Yun Li but her gaze was fixed on Jiang Shiyu.
Yun Li merely nodded in response. Jiang Shiyu had no intention of lingering with them and led Yun Li away. As they passed by, Zheng Yating's expression darkened significantly.
She turned around and shouted at Yun Li, "Do you really think he cares about you? Do you even know—"
Jiang Shiyu turned back sharply, her cold gaze landing on Zheng Yating, leaving her words stuck in her throat and causing a heavy feeling in her chest as if a large stone had been pressed down on it.
Yun Li was confused by the sudden outburst; she found Zheng Yating's behavior strange and erratic. No matter how unwilling she felt, it was all in the past now. Clinging to old grievances seemed pointless.
"I can sense whether he is sincere or not without your interference," Yun Li replied coolly, her tone flat and her expression icy.
The two stood together, their combined presence strong and strikingly matched.
A sharp pain pierced Zheng Yating's eyes. They were filled with unwillingness and resentment.
