Yun Li lay on the bed, pinching her own face in disbelief. It hurt; this was not a dream. She took out her phone and opened the chat page with Jiang Shiyu. After a moment's hesitation, she typed: "Are you asleep?"
A few seconds passed before a reply came through. "No."
"What's wrong?"
Yun Li couldn't help but smile sweetly, her lips curving up. "What did you mean by that just now? Are you implying something?"
Just out of a cold shower, Jiang Shiyu saw the message and chuckled softly, tossing her phone onto the bed as she slipped into a bathrobe. After sending the message, silence fell on the other end, and Yun Li waited for a while.
Still nothing.
She sat up in bed and sent another message: "You’re not having second thoughts, are you?"
Just seconds after she hit send, there was a knock at the hotel door.
Yun Li hesitated for a moment, feeling a twinge of caution before calling out tentatively, "Who is it?"
There was no answer, just another series of three orderly knocks.
Getting up, she slipped on her slippers. In the darkness, she turned on the flashlight on her phone and cautiously made her way to the door, calling out again, "Who?"
A deep voice responded from outside, "It’s me."
Hearing Jiang Shiyu's voice made Yun Li breathe a sigh of relief. She turned on the light and opened the door without hesitation.
As soon as she cracked it open, the door was pushed wide from the outside. Yun Li instinctively took two steps back.
Then, a strong figure surged in, carrying the scent of shower gel. Jiang Shiyu wrapped her arms around Yun Li’s slender waist, and with a loud thud, the door was slammed shut behind them, pinning Yun Li against it.
Yun Li instinctively squinted her eyes as her brows furrowed slightly. She placed her hands against Jiang Shiyu's chest. Looking down with deep-set eyes, Jiang Shiyu leaned in and kissed her before she could react, pressing her soft lips against Yun Li’s cool ones.
Yun Li's eyes widened; Jiang Shiyu was so close—just a few centimeters apart—as she closed her eyes and earnestly kissed Yun Li’s lips.
What began as gentle kisses quickly escalated; their tongues intertwined as they grew bolder. The room was silent except for the amplified sounds of their kisses—Jiang Shiyu’s soft gasps mingling with the sound of their lips meeting.
Yun Li felt her face flush with heat; it burned bright red. Initially unsure of how to respond, she soon found herself swept up in Jiang Shiyu's lead, beginning to reciprocate shyly.
Unknowingly, her response seemed to stimulate him, and Jiang Shiyu's breath grew heavy. The hand gripping her waist slowly tightened, pulling her closer until their bodies were pressed tightly together. Yun Li tilted her head back, her neck straining slightly as she frowned and murmured softly. Jiang Shiyu noticed and tightened his hold, lifting her slightly.
Instinctively, Yun Li placed her hands on his shoulders, her delicate fingers pale and her nails a soft pink. She gently grasped the fabric of the bathrobe on Jiang Shiyu's shoulder. Completely under the control of the person above her, she closed her eyes, too afraid to open them. They kissed for about two minutes in that secluded spot.
When it ended, Yun Li rested her forehead against Jiang Shiyu's chest, her face flushed as she gasped for breath, her body trembling involuntarily. Jiang Shiyu soothingly caressed her back and held her in his arms, providing a sense of security once her feet touched the ground.
He held her face in his hands, compelling her to meet his gaze. His Peach Blossom Eyes were filled with desire, so enchanting that the corners appeared slightly flushed, his gaze burning as if he wanted to melt her away.
Yun Li shyly lowered her eyes, her almond-shaped eyes glistening with moisture. She bit her already moist lips shyly, feeling a mix of embarrassment and indignation. "You... you're being a rogue again."
Jiang Shiyu's fingertip brushed over her lips, his voice hoarse. Last time he had been drunk; this time he couldn't hold back any longer.
Yun Li looked up at him in surprise. "Hao Hao just asked me a question, and I answered you seriously."
"I was going to let you off easy, but you provoked me first," Jiang Shiyu added with a smirk.
Yun Li widened her eyes, wanting to argue but ultimately deciding against it; what if he did something else?
