"Pretty good," Jiang Shiyu said, and then fell silent. 0

Seeing that Yun seemed uninterested, he wondered if he had been too boring. 0

When they arrived at Jiang Ci's house, Jiang Shiyu had already informed Jiang Ci's parents, who were waiting at the door to greet them. Once there, Jiang Ci's mother brought Jiang Ci over; the little guy was sound asleep and didn’t wake up. 0

Jiang Ci's mother, twenty-nine years old and gentle in appearance, looked at Jiang Shiyu with curiosity as he brought a girl along. "Thank you! Are you classmates with Shiyu?" she asked. 0

"No," Yun replied. 0

Jiang Shiyu walked over, one hand in his pocket, his voice low. "Just a friend. Auntie, we’re leaving." 0

Without lingering, he turned to Yun and said, "Get in the car." 0

After nodding to Jiang Ci's mother, Yun prepared to sit in the back seat where she had just been. But Jiang Shiyu opened the car door and leaned against it with one hand, teasingly saying, "Yun, do you think I’m your taxi driver?" 0

Yun felt embarrassed and quickly got into the front passenger seat. 0

"Let’s go," Jiang Shiyu said to Jiang Ci's mother before getting into the car himself. 0

Yun Zheng sat up straight, not daring to move around. 0

Jiang Shiyu held the steering wheel with one hand and glanced at her; she was sitting too rigidly, making it obvious that she was tense. 0

He couldn't be that intimidating, could he? They had just been chatting quite well a moment ago. 0

For the first time, Jiang Shiyu found himself wondering how to talk to a girl. He usually interacted more with boys and spoke quite directly, often bluntly. He had never really engaged in a serious conversation with a girl before. In past relationships, it was always the girls who initiated topics while he just responded casually. He never thought about finding topics to discuss himself. 0

Moreover, they met only a few times a month, leaving little opportunity for conversation. 0

Seeing a milk tea shop outside, Jiang Shiyu asked her, "Do you want some milk tea?" 0

Yun wanted to drink, and this opportunity was rare, so she decided to indulge. Jiang Shiyu nodded and found a spot to park the car. The two of them walked side by side to buy milk tea. 0

In summer, many people craved milk tea, all waiting for their orders to be prepared. After placing their orders, they stood at the entrance of the small shop, which had no seating available, so everyone was standing. 0

Neither of them spoke. Yun, feeling bored, walked back and forth while Yun Zheng stared blankly ahead, lost in thought. She took a couple of steps forward without noticing the electric bike honking behind her. 0

Suddenly, a strong force pulled her back. Yun was startled, her heart skipping a beat as her nose collided with the boy's firm chest. A wave of discomfort hit her, and tears welled up in her eyes. 0

"Be careful; don’t space out while walking," the boy’s deep voice came from above. It was only then that Yun realized she was in his embrace, inhaling his unique scent. His hand was protectively placed on her shoulder and back, completely enveloping her. 0

Her face flushed instantly, and she dared not look up at him. Taking a step back, she murmured softly, "Thank you." 0

As the soft sensation faded, Jiang Shiyu rubbed his palm with his fingertips. Noticing her eyes were glistening with unshed tears, his frown eased slightly. 0

Yun blinked hard to hold back her tears. Her voice softened and became slightly hoarse as she asked, "Did you hear that?" 0

Yun Lian quickly nodded, relieved that her makeup concealed her blush. She dared not move around anymore and obediently stood beside him. 0

When their number was called, Jiang Shiyu went to collect their order but only got a cup he didn’t particularly like. 0

Yun sipped on her pearl milk tea as they strolled leisurely back to the car. Jiang Shiyu lowered his gaze to her; her slender shoulders were so small that he could easily grasp them with one hand. 0

She was too thin. He knew that dancing required a lot of effort and that losing weight was tough as well. The fact that she had persevered for so long showed a determination stronger than most. 0

Yun chewed on the pearls in her drink; she loved his family's milk tea for its rich flavor and chewy pearls. Holding the cup up to him, she said, "Are you sure you don’t want to try it? It’s really good." 0

Jiang Shiyu glanced at the straw in her cup and chuckled lightly. "Are you suggesting we share the same cup?" 0

Yun Xin shrank back at his teasing, biting her lip in embarrassment as she mumbled defensively, "I’m not!" 0

She simply made a suggestion, saying that if he liked it, he could buy another cup. Jiang Shiyu's Peach Blossom Eyes sparkled with laughter, and his previously indifferent expression softened. "I'm just teasing you, don't worry! I won't drink yours." 0

Yun shot him an annoyed glance. He really was not serious at all. 0

Jiang Shiyu accurately caught her discontented look and couldn't help but laugh, causing a slight tremor in his chest. 0

Yun looked at him in confusion. What was so funny? 0

They got into the car, started the engine, and continued driving towards Wugu District. Yun yawned and lazily leaned back against the seat. 0

"Are you tired?" Jiang Shiyu asked. 0

Yun nodded slightly. "A little." 0

Jiang Shiyu glanced at the time; it was just past ten. He usually stayed up late, so this hour was still early for him—his nightlife was just beginning. 0

When they arrived at Shangyang Street, Yun pointed out where her neighborhood was. As they reached the entrance of Yu Garden Community, the car slowed to a stop. Yun unbuckled her seatbelt and turned to him. "I'll go up first." 0
