He stood tall and straight, his slender figure exuding a sense of pressure that made the atmosphere around them feel heavier. 0

Another person swaggered over, calling out, "Wow, there are quite a few people here!" 0

Dressed in a brown cotton jacket, he casually tossed his coat onto the sofa and sat down without a care. 0

Yun Li heard the voice and casually lifted his eyelids, then fixed his gaze. The two were separated by some distance—one standing and one sitting—under the dim, colorful lights. Yet Yun Li could still clearly see his face. 0

His lips were tightly pressed together, and his Peach Blossom Eyes held no warmth, only indifference and calm. 0

Shu Ran also paused, staring blankly at Qin Nianzhe and the man at the door, Jiang Shiyu. 0

Qin Nianchu immediately adjusted Qin Nianzhe's clothing, frowning as he whispered, "Didn’t you say you were just inviting a few acquaintances? Why did you bring him along?" 0

Qin Nianzhe rubbed his nose and replied vaguely, "The others were busy. A Yu happened to be free today, so I invited him over. He’s been cooped up at the base for months; it’s good for him to come out and join us." 0

Jiang Shiyu was the first to look away and walked over to sit down, pouring himself a glass of warm water. That warm water had actually been brought by Qin Nianchu for Shu Ran to drink. Shu Ran didn’t get any but Jiang Shiyu did. 0

Yun Li lowered his gaze and took a sip of his drink. 0

These two had been developing in Jing City but had somehow managed to avoid each other. Yun Li was intentionally keeping his distance, thinking that he might never see them again in this lifetime. 0

Qin Nianchu glanced at him; they were twin siblings who had grown up in a playful rivalry. 0

Shu Ran lost interest in singing, pushed Xu aside to sit down, and muttered unhappily, "What bad luck." It was clear that Jiang Shiyu was not welcome here. 0

Qin Nianchu took the microphone to select a song and began singing along with Peng Qingyu. The private room started to liven up again. 0

Yun Li had two more drinks before pouring himself another glass while Shu Ran and Qin Nianzhe began playing games, taking turns in rock-paper-scissors. 0

Qin Nianzhe lost several rounds and drank quite a bit of alcohol. Watching from the side, Yun Li kindly reminded him, "Ran Ran has been playing rock-paper-scissors since middle school; not many can beat her. Don’t torture yourself." A faint smile lingered on Yun Li's lips. 0

Qin Nianzhe scratched his head in frustration, looking defiant as he said, "I refuse to believe it! I can win against you!" 0

Yun Li watched with amusement as Qin Nianzhe's face turned increasingly pitiful while he downed drink after drink, his smile growing wider. 0

She drank her wine, lost in her own thoughts. Her tolerance had improved; unlike before, when one glass would send her reeling. 0

In the dim corner, a man observed her with a slight frown. He stood up and slipped out unnoticed. 0

After two minutes, Yun Li felt a fullness in her stomach and decided to head to the restroom. 0

Emerging from the bathroom, she turned on the faucet to wash her hands. The cold water made her shiver slightly. She dried her hands with paper towels, tossing them into the trash as she stepped outside. 0

Suddenly, she halted in her tracks. 0

Ahead, a tall figure leaned against the wall, a cigarette pinched between his fingers, ash falling to the ground. The man seemed to sense her presence and turned his head to look at her. 0

Their gazes met, and she noticed he had grown even taller and more composed than before. 0

Yun Li stood at one hundred sixty-nine centimeters, slender in build; even in thick clothing, she appeared tall and delicate. The man was one hundred eighty-eight centimeters, broad-shouldered with a narrow waist, his handsome face marked by an air of arrogance and charm that even his glasses couldn’t conceal. 0

Jiang Shiyu extinguished his cigarette and straightened up, adopting a more formal posture. 0

Yun Li lowered her eyelids and stepped forward, preparing to pass him by. As she approached, she caught a whiff of his scent mingled with smoke, causing her heart to skip a beat. 0

Just as she walked past him, his deep voice broke the silence: "Drink less." There was a hint of uncertainty in his tone. 0

Her heart tightened unexpectedly at his words. Yun Li pressed her lips together and continued walking without replying. 0

Jiang Shiyu watched her retreating figure until she disappeared around the corner before he let out a soft sigh. 0

After a few seconds, he chuckled softly to himself and lit another cigarette. 0

This new story will cover aspects of university life, featuring a male lead who appears to be a playboy but is pure-hearted. Although the female lead develops feelings for him first, he finds himself in a more humble position within their relationship. 0
